Intensive riding programs specializing in hunters and equitation. Learn good basic skills, fundamental tools to be an effective rider, review and improve basics and discuss future goals.Instruction by head trainer Colleen R. Seely:Trainer,VHSA judge and “r“ applicant. Students can choose from the following opportunities: Day Program, for riders from age 6-12; Weekend Three-Day Clinic for riders 9-17 and Residential Week-long sessions,for riders age 9-17.

DAY PROGRAM

Our day programs are Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Our popular Summer Day session includes one 60 minute riding lesson in small groups each day. Groups are formed according to riding ability, intermediate,and beginner groups available.

Also includes grooming and tacking instruction, and hands on horsemanship. There will be daily demonstrations, where students can watch, learn, and ask questions on various equine related topics. Pack a lunch,towel and swimsuit. We will "cool out" in the swimming pool daily!

THREE-DAY WEEKEND CLINIC

Our weekend two-day residential clinic begins Friday at 3:30 p.m to Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Clinic specializing in hunters and equitation. Learn good basic skills, fundamental tools to be an effective rider, review and improve basics and discuss future goals. Learn about the direction of the hunter industry and how to get results in the show ring. Enjoy four 60 min. sessions, working a variety of horses. Instruction in ability matched groups, all rider levels welcome! Instruction by head trainer Colleen R. Seely.

Unmounted instruction discussions on tack,grooming,safety,judging, what judges are looking for,and veterinary and blacksmith management of hunter show horses. Learn stable management and care on our 26 acre facility that houses approximately 20 show and riding school horses.

Learn about the direction of the hunter industry and how to get results in the show ring. Train twice daily in 60 min. sessions, working a variety of horses. Instruction by head trainer Colleen R. Seely:Trainer,VHSA judge and “r“ applicant. .
Unmounted instruction discussions on judging conformation and faults, movement of a hunter, quality of jumping, what judges are looking for, USEF rules, USEF testing 1-19,and Veterinary and blacksmith management of hunter show horses. Learn stable management and care on our 26 acre facility that houses approximately 20 show and riding school horses.
Our facility includes two barns, turnouts,135 x210 arena with full course ability ,hiking/bridle trails, swimming pool, private cabin for students, and two tack rooms. Weeklong residents enjoy three home cooked meals daily, two 60 min lessons daily, clinics, and horse related crafts. We welcome parents and family to attend our parents day Horse Show on the last day! $950 per session, meals and lodging includes.

Extended Stay

Limited to one serious minded rider per.session, stay at the farm one week or multiple weeks.Must be an advanced rider from age 13-17. Ride multiple horses daily, train in our boarder lesson program, have opportunity to attend/compete in horse shows, help with young riders,assist lessons, assist with daily stable management activities, and enjoy leisure pool time and the quiet farm atmosphere.
Extended Camp fees are $250 per week.
