Fox Pointe Farm's Schooling Program
The philosophy behind the teaching method at Fox Pointe emphasizes a reliance on fundamentals and classical equitation, in other words, learning correctly from the very beginning.
We offer Private, Semi- Private and Group Instruction. Unlike riding programs at larger stables where riders "fall through the cracks" becoming more a number than a name, the instruction program at Fox Pointe centers on the personal goals of its students. We emphasize matching skill levels and age ranges as much as possible in placing students in classes.
The particular style of riding taught at our facility is known as Balance Seat Equitation. It relies on a practical, workmanlike approach to the horse and riding, both mentally and physically. We pride ourselves on training skilled, independent riders, not instant riders.
From the fundamentals of classically correct flatwork to hunters, equitation,and jumpers our students receive a broad skill base with a firm foundation. Riding is a skill that can be taught but never completely mastered, and as such, the education of any rider is continually evolving. We encourage the continuation of this education through the avenues of competition, and in-house training programs such as the working student program (ask for details).
School Horses
We have a fine collection of quality school horses and ponies for students to take lessons on and show. With the broad spectrum of personality types and physical builds necessary to accommodate a variety of riders' needs.
Our school horses are the foundation of our facility, and we take a great deal of pride in them.

Payment Policy & Cancellations
Lessons are offered in blocks of four or five. Payments made the first week of each month.
Cancellations must be made with 24 hour notice, make-ups within the week.

Attire
• Approved helmets and proper footwear are always required
• Please do not wear excessively bulky or loose-fitting clothing
• Shirts should be tucked in
• Avoid loose hair

Brenda Mueller has been riding and showing for 35 years and teaching and training for 27 years.Brenda also participated on the board of the Wisconsin Hunter Jumper Association including the position of President for three years. Learning from such great riders and trainers as Katie Monahan Prudent, John Madden, Beezie Madden, Donalc Cheska and Darly Pirtle. She continues her education by riding her horses with such trainers as George Morris,Rich Francher, Don Stewart, Scott Hoffstetter and Diane Carney. She bases her teaching on horsemanship fundamentals to create champions and winning riders. Please contact Colleen Seely for clinic reservations.
