Census of African Americans is compiled from Mortality Schedules, Ferderal Census, Prison Records, Military Records, and all other records/documents dating from the early 1800's and as far into the 20th century that I have been able to track. Records will be alphabetized.
I do this with the hope that someone out there who may be looking for an ancestor will find a link to a family member.
Consider this as a work in progress. It is a site under construction.
It will be continually updated. Keep in touch!!!! This is the beginning of an enormous amount of work.
