Welcome to COW-TOES CATTERY. (REFR Registry) We are proud to announce that we raise a mixture of polydactyls, Scottish Folds, Highlanders and manx or bob-tail cats and kittens. We own a dairy farm in Washington State AND CATS ARE OUR FRIENDS. These cats are strong and healthy because we take extra time and care for our cats. All our breeding stock is seprated from the rest of the world where we have designed a large area in our barn that is open but closed in enough so strays and other animals can't harm them. We call this our jungle room. It is stocked with things for our cats to do, high beams for climbing and a place where they can each find a padded bed and a place to roll in the sun. In the winter they get electric blankets! We even have three honeymoon suites! Because we can control our breedings our female's have thier babies in our house where they are watched and usually have help during delivery. Mother and babies stay in until at least 10 weeks old. All active breeders and kittens are litter box trained. This way we can keep our cats from picking up an unwanted virus or bacteria like normal outdoor cats can do. All cats are kept on a very important vaccaine program and we don't allow strays on our place. If they show up they don't stay very long. Older breeders are spayed or neutered and if not placed in a home they are released on the dairy and used for mice. We still continue a vaccine program with our outside cats along with regular wormings. Because of our extra care we believe these cats deserve a better life so we offer them to the outside public for a fee if they are given a better home. We also work at developing a certain style and personality. THESE ARE NOT JUST YOUR AVERAGE CAT!!! We know our cats and try and put the right cat with the right people. If your looking for a cat with a little extra, try a poly. I guarantee you can't have just one!!!!

As you know we have incorporated several different breeds into our program. None of these are the fancy papered cats they are just cats that have been carefully selected and bred in our program to be the most unique funniest cat you could ever own. The most important thing we go for is personality then it is followed by looks. If papers are important to you then you can go to the Rare and Exotic Feline Reg. and see where your kitten may qualify. Most of my kittens fall in the American Polydactyl, Highlander Lynx or the Puppy Kats classification. There you can look up the qualifications for the breed and register in to their open registry program. Due to the complexity of our breeding program I would like to see most of these kittens spay or neutered. THESE ARE NOT INBRED CATS they are carefully selected before they are brought here. When they arrive and become apart of our family we make a very strong point to not breed our cats with fathers and daughters or moms with sons. Good genetics are very important to me.
