Danielle Faulkner - Talented Singer and Performer



Danielle is a multi-talented classical soprano vocal artist and performer. She possesses a superior ability
for crossover genre of classical, jazz and pop. She currently holds a grade 10 certificate with the Royal
Conservatory of Music. Additionally, Danielle is involved in composition and studies piano. Her extensive
repertoire of songs is performed in 7 languages and she holds an impressive performance reputation for
stage command in theatre productions and formal vocal concerts.
Danielle holds over 35 vocal awards and has been selected on multiple occasions to represent Prince
George in the BC Festival of Performing Arts for classical repertoire and musical theatre.
Danielle is very active with community volunteering with many performances at charity functions, her
community church, the Prince George Conservatory of Music, Prince George Secondary School, The
Prince George Sinfonia and in 2009, performed at the "Come to the Cabaret" fundraiser for the Prince
George Symphony Orchestra.
Highlights of Danielle's performances have been the opportunity to sing several classical pieces for her
Honor, Iona Campagnolo, Lieutenant]Governor of B.C; as a chorus member with the UBC Opera
Ensemble and the Prince George Symphony Orchestra's local productions of The Magic Flute, La
Boheme, and Hansel and Gretel, as well as the title role in PGSS Theater Arts production of "Anne of
Green Gables". Danielle was also selected as Northern BC's regional finalist winner of the 2006 David
Foster Star Search competition. Her breathtaking performance of "I Believe in You"(Il Divo and Celine
Dion) won the acclaim of Star Search celebrity judges Babyface, Su Bailey, David and Jaymes Foster,
Daisey Fuentes, and Clay Aiken. In 2008, Danielle played "Johanna" in production of Sweeney Todd with
The Excalibur Performers Association.
Danielle had the honor of singing the Canadian national anthem for the 2010 Olympic Games One Year
Countdown Show in February 2009. This show was televised to a national and international audience
from the Olympic Skating Oval in Richmond, British Columbia.
Danielle's vast vocal talents are paralleled with her outstanding acting capacity and her ability to
command an audience. She is truly a well rounded performer worthy of the stage and a must see for all
ages.
Danielle is currently studying Opera at the University of British Columbia's School of Music in Vancouver.
