Chaotic voices rippled through the normally tranquil
space. Thoughts that until recently had been
singular, harmonious, unified, had fractured. The
remaining splinters rose up against one another,
overlapping, disagreeing, disturbing the natural
balance. Emotions that had long since been banished
returned with troubling power. Reports from corporeal
space brought confusion, indecision, anger, and even
fear that obscured the natural path that had always
been clear.
