This is a very unique time in Everquest history, for at no other time since its inception has there been this many newbies roaming the zones of Norrath as now. Everybody is a newbie at some point, and nobody wants to stay a newbie forever, so I've decided to give some advice to people on how to get out of this phase quickly and to set yourself up for later on, when you really pay for/benefit from the ground you laid as a newbie. Note that I chose 5th level as the point when you are no longer a "newbie". I chose this point because it is where everyone has advanced enough to get some class-defining skills and abilities and to really start becoming something other than a professional rat slayer.

Choosing a Character- I myself am a Eurdite Wizard. They aren't the best but i took crappy advice from my friends and supposably they know everything cuz they're in level 30. Do not choose an Iksar. Don't judge it by its look. Everyone hates them and they suck anyway. Its up to you to choose a character, they have there goodness and badness. But they are all good.
Money- Whoa! Money is a big problem in Everquest. Most things are also very expensive, but don't sweat it. You must think im in a high level just because of this site, but im not. Consider me a newbie just like you. I was and still am a begger when i need to beg. Some prices are ridiculous on EQ for example you want to buy certain weapons and armory but they cost 115 plat or 44 plat 7 gold 6 silver and 8 copper and only does 13 hit points max (thats kinda wack). Money is a big deal on EQ , but if you have to beg beg only people who con to you as "what would you like your tombstone to say". Most of the time they are very high leveled rich f*&kers. If not fight your way through creaturs and collect money. You'll be up and at it on NOTIME!
Weapons- Myself as an idiot have bought weapons that isn't even for my race. HA! im sure you people have done that before and then you have to sell it back for a lesser value (that sucks a big one). Make sure you always check the race and class before you buy a weapon buy right clicking on it. Or you will pull somthing i have pulled more then several times.
Looping- Always loop bodies you stumble over they are sure to have money or items you can sell for money. Lets say you stumble over a skeleton and you loop it (by right clicking its body) you may find bones, and even though you sell it for 8 copper which seems like nothing, you can collect more stacks and more and recieve 1 or 2 gold in NOTIME! When you die always run back to your body and loop it or you will lose all your stuff soon after camping. So make sure you know where you are before you take a risk of fighting and dieing.
Bank- The bank sucks but is very usefull. Notice how the creators of Eq try to make the game realistic. I thought you would. Always try to save a weapon in the bank for usefull cases. When you die and leave your body for someone to stumble over and laugh their lungs out, you will have to go back to loop it. But maybe you will have to go loop it somewhere far into Toxxulia forest or Field of Bones or even Qeynos Hills which is a big A$5 field, you will regret going in there with your fist to fight with if someone tries you. (good luck mwahahahaha)
Well i just bought Luclin not to long ago and i don't even know how to get there. I know, im an idiot!! But if you think your so smart send me email. Well my next update will be the 11th of december.
