ezekiel encounter 3 7 executioners destroying

9:1 Then/And he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying:

" Here they come/Draw near you executioners of the city, each with his
destroying weapon in his hand."
[Note the speech marks, indicating a voice which is not disembodied] The
text means either:

[1] 'He' is ordering 'men' with weapons [see next verse] to draw near,
or:

[2] 'He' is ordering the men with weapons to bring those [probably local
representatives] appointed as executioners.

'He' speaks with a male authoritative voice and is either whoever
brought Ezekiel here or the fiery form seen on arrival
[it might even be a third visitor and that of E1]

Communications in Hebrew indicate, as 900 years earlier [T2], the use of
a linguist - in Encounter 1, a 'form' showed an understanding of
linguistic problems:
B123 3:5/6 For you are not sent to a people of foreign speech and a hard
language...Not to many peoples of foreign speech and a hard language
whose words you cannot understand...
E541 The writing of man is different from that of god [Is 8:1]

Where is ''He''?

[1] Most likely, 'He' is right next to the prophet[see 10:2], and
suddenly startles him with a loud announcement,
perhaps using some sort of megaphone, or...

[2] As the voice effects both ears 'He' is using a public address system
in

[i] The 'vision[s] of God' transporter,

[ii] the craft he saw on arrival [8:4]

[iii] in a second major craft on the [up to now]unmentioned
cherub[im][9:3]

9:2 And lo, 6 men came...every man with his destroying weapon/weapon for
slaughter in his hand,

and in their midst/among them was a man clothed in linen
['linen' is more visible in temple darkness/at night, see E3 intro,
10:12 & 43:2]

with a writing case/ inkhorn at his side.

They came and stood beside the bronze altar.

There are 6/7 'men' depending on whether the man in linen is separate
from or one of the 6.

The text does not say 'he' is a leader.

Theologists, though, argue they are 6 mystical avenging spirits/
gods/angels of gigantic size[C58,E129] with a leader.

B78,122 Ezekiel simply states they are men. Presumably, they are
normally dressed. This indicates they are either:

[1] Trained/recruited local people or:

[2] B78,122 Acclimatised 'beings' assimilated with the local population.

B77 Each carries a murder/harmful/destroying/ for slaughter weapon/ tool
of annihilation/ destruction.

Ezekiel is totally unfamiliar with the weapon and gives no direct
description.

[In every translation they have different designations. They are
terrible and irresistible instruments of slaughter].

B79 The 'writing case' carried by one of the six, or a seventh 'man', is some sort of communication device or radiation detector.
