(1) It is nice to be Important; it is more important to be Nice !

Some remarks or thoughts may be provocative; keep an open mind about them. You may agree with some and disagree with others. That's OK. An ecxchange of ideas is good and we can always agree to disagree.

(2) I don't care to hear any Race discussions unless both Black and White admit and reject the racists within their communities. Remember the words, "Judge people by the content of their character, Not the color of their skin".
(3) Too many Attorneys looking for unfounded cases to sue, especially frivolous suits against Doctors and Manufacturers. They are putting too many Companies out of business and causing tremendous harm to the economy, let alone increasing unemployment, except to themselves. If you don't like what I am saying, don't sue, prove me wrong. I will debate you. I keep hearing that "this is a country of laws". Shouldn't it really be a country of Justice? 99% of Lawyers give the rest a bad name !!!
(4) Politicians; enough Partisan accusations and "spin".
Put your Country FIRST before yourself or your Party.
(5) Enough foreign aid give aways....Billions to Israel, Egypt, Turkey etc. etc. then we decry our deficits in our city, state and Federal budgets. Shouldn't Aid begin at HOME? Think about it.
(6) I think it is time....whenever one criticizes an idea to a problem, we should also submit a solution. It has been asked by many why people like Jesse Jackson always seem to be the problem but never the solution.
(7) Seems like any one no matter how irresponsible can be a Parent; shouldn't there be compulsory parenting classes for new parents? Why not?
(8) I don't think any one is held accountable in our Courts any more concerning the TRUTH. What happened to " I swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth"? Is it because they dropped "so help me GOD" ?
(9) It has been said that as long as they have tests in school, there will always be prayers in school.
(10) Back to "justice"; when Companies are found guilty of a problem, the people responsible are not being held responsible. Instead, huge fines are assesed against the Company, therefore punishig innocent stock holders and not the Managers or employees responsible for the problem.
(11) Too many laws on the "books" and most are only selectively enforced.
(12) How did the ordinary person benefit from the billions of dollars that the Tobacco companies have been fined? Only the lawyers appear to have benefitted. Again, no accountability. We are becoming a country "of the lawyers, by the lawyers, so help us lawyers". Do you sense a trend ?
(13) I say to the rest of the world...Do not hate the USA because we are successful. Emulate some of our ways and aspire to be better. Instead of spending energy on hate and jealousy, use your energy to better yourselves. Not everyone will succeed but it is better to try than sit back and hope that you will get lucky. The USA did not get lucky; it worked it's way to the top.
(14) It is nice that entertainers and sports people get paid very well. Shouldn't DOCTORS really be at the very top of the income list? They at least save lives and heal the ailing. Would you call on any one else in your time of need ? Think about this; next time you are in pain, would you call Holywood or an Athlete?
(15) Why are so many people "duped" with this hogwash about Global warming? What is their agenda? Throughout the History of the world, temperatures have varied up and down. That is a FACT! Check the records. It is the height of arrogance that people believe that humans can control climates. The force of Nature is beyond control. Can you control a Tornado or Hurricane?
There are many scientists that are against this global warming stuff. The news media is too slanted to give them equal time. Back in the early eighties, these same agenda driven global warming people were crying global icing. Wake up people and start thinking for yourselves instead of being influenced by nonsensical ideas of far left or far right.
(16) People who join so called Peace demonstrations; some of you call yourselves "peace" demonstrators. Why do you resort to violence? Possibly because you are anarchists?
Besides, think of this.....what good is Peace without justice? Shouldn't you instead be for Justice? There will not be any peace without Justice. Do not become a so called "Useful Idiot" just for the sake of peace. Take up the cause of Justice instead.
(17) Have the courage to have an "Open Mind" about other ideas. If your idea is better than mine, I will think about it and adopt it or apply it. You should really try it. If you have a closed mind, you will tend not to learn much of anything new and go through life making the same dumb mistakes that we all incur at various times.
(18) We only go through Life once. Try to be kind to others and when you leave this life, you will be remembered as a NICE person; otherwise you will soon be forgotten or else be remembered with folks like, Mao,Stalin,Hitler,Manson,Sadam,Pol Pot,etc.
(19) One of our biggest enemies (USA), is our own left wing Liberal media that distort the news (eg: Dan Rather, Newsweek, NY Times, LA Times, etc.) and constantly harangue the USA as a "bad" country. Then the overseas media picks all this negative stuff and brainwashes the rest of the world. What happened to the good old Democratic Party of JFK? It has been hijacked by the left wingers, the McGoverns, the Kerrys,Ted Kennedy and the Deans. Why are the good Democrats keeping quiet and have given their party up to the left. Bring it back so that we again have a sensible choice at election times. The Republicans have won past elections because of these "highjackers".
