My name is ERIDANIA MARTE.
I have been a Model/Dancer ever since I can remember. Being born in a poor Country, I did not have much chance to pursue my dreams and not many occurrences to further my passion as the talented, motivated and dedicated young woman that I am. Even though I attended several educate, modeling and dancing schools, I always had to bring it to an end because of economic reasons. I have been a runway model since I was five years old, and dancer from the time I was conceived.
Once I sat foot into the Land of opportunities, The U.S., I decided I am going to take advantage of everything that is being given to me. I decided that I am going to take every opportunity which presents itself and be as prosperous as I can be, giving it a 110% always; but I am also prepared to make any obstacle a challenge for me to learn and grow.
I arrived into this country five years ago, and since then I have dedicated myself to my academics by becoming an outstanding Honor Student in George Washington high school, at LaGuardia Community College and at Columbia University as well. I strongly believe in the importance of education and being so enthusiastic about school, I am planning to take it further and continue on to finish Pharmacy School.
Even though College has been a very important part of my life, I have always maintained Modeling and Dancing as part of my most beloved goals to accomplish. I was born a Model. I was born to be seen, appreciated and to represent the voice of those that are inhibited by criticism, and what's more, inspire them.
I was born to be on stage. Performing before a live audience, whether dancing, modeling, or even speaking, gives me a thrill and a sense of fulfillment nothing else in the world can bring about. I am a Model simply because I believe in the beauty of refinement; because I believe in the natural female attractiveness; and because I believe that our body is an instrument to express the art of human creativity. I am a Dancer because music is in my flesh; because music is some sort of energy I need to keep going; and because music has the power of healing those illnesses numerous medicines cannot.
Some people tell me that I am trying to achieve a little too much at once, Pharmacy, Modeling, Dancing, a Social life and a Personal life, but I take those words and turn them into encouraging ones.
