My name is Eddie Mehl. I am a 16 year old go kart racer, and my goal is to eventually make it into the NASCAR Nextel Cup. I desperately need help, though, because my parents can barely afford for me to race go karts, and in order to move up into something bigger, I need sponsorship. I have sent out many letter to companies to try to achieve this, but have had no luck thus far. The series I want to get into is the Allison Legacy Series. An Allison Legacy car is a 3/4 size stock car. It has a Mazda B2200 truck engine, with around 125 horsepower, and a five-speed transmission. The car turn key and ready to go is $16,800. There are also used cars that run a lot cheaper, around $10,000-12,000. There is also a weekly expense of about $100 a week.

Well it's been a long time since I've updated this, sorry about that. Well we havent been having a very great year. Except for 1 win and 3 top fives, we've been struggling. We've been having a very rough time setting the kart up due to continuously changing track condiotions, though we are moving in the the right direction. Both Wes and I had top 5 finishes on Saturday though, We finished third and I had a fourth place run. Hopefully we can get back into continuous top five finishes like last year. I plan on putting more recent pictures on here soon, as well.
