Thanks for considering Elucid PC services for your computer repair or networking needs.
There is something really bothering me. The fact that big name computer and electronic stores actually get away with charging out the whoozah for their PC and Network services. It should be a crime! I recently was in one of those stores, and the prices I saw that they were charging for labor and repair made my jaw hit the floor.
EXAMPLE:
Big name company prices: $75.00 an hour for labor, or home or office network setups, & $35.00 trip charge if they have to come to you!!!
Elucid PC Services Prices: $30.00-$50.00 flat rate, depending on work performed, up to 3 hours. Services requiring over 3 hours of work are billed at only $25.00 an hour up to a maximum of 4 hours, not to exceed $100.00 dollars, regardless of how many hours it takes to complete the job. $0.25 cents per mile traveled. Less than 10 miles and there is no trip charge.
Those outrageuous rates by the large big name stores are nothing short of thievery! Sometimes you may also have to deal with a pushy salesman that will try to either get you to buy things that you really dont need and tell you you "HAVE TO BUY THEM, OR IT MAY NOT WORK CORREC TLY", or they will try to sell you the most expensive replacement parts if something HAS to be replaced, all so they recieve a nice, hefty commision check. I know, because as bad as it may sound, I used to be one of those people.
REMEMBER!! When you take your PC into a store for repairs, all the employees usually see is a big money sign floating above your head, because he knows your bringing it in because your not able to fix it or don't have a clue whats wrong with it, and the person knows they are about to rack up some serious commision money on their next paycheck. They are taught to use every single chance to sell you extra goods, even knowing you may not need them. Again, I know this from experience as being one off those type of salesman/service tech.
Wow, if they are going to take you to the bank for so much money this way, I feel their definatly should be alternatives. Thats where I come in.
We are an independent, privately owned PC and Network repair business. We do not have a big fancy office with incompetent employees, nor do I stretch the truth about what troubles your system has or try to sell you on buying new things. We operate from our own home office and are able to buy most PC parts and software at cost. This means, that with no markups on replacement parts or software, and no employee salary or commision checks to pay, we are able to easily pass the savings on to you! Best of all, we charge WAAAY less than those big companies, while offering the same quality work, with an honest guarantee.

(Wireless encryption keeps everyone else from leeching your wireless ISP connection and secures your personal or sensitive data)
~Data Recovery-
(We can recover most data that you may have accidently deleted or you thought was lost for eternity. The data is usually still there you just have to know where to look.)
~Hardware Upgrades-
(Your system will run much better if you invest in upgrades once in awhile. This can help keep your PC from becoming a dinosaur sooner than later.)
~Software Installation-
(Things don't always go as planned, and sometimes stubborn software just does not want to install or work right. We can make it do what its supposed to.)
~Virus and Spyware removal-
(If you have a virus, chances are your personal information is at risk of being stolen, or your PC could be used for illegal actions by an outside user. Spyware, which should also be illegal, is one of the most common causes of sluggish or poor performance in a PC. We can make both of these disappear as if they were never there and make sure they dont come back.)
~Operating System Recovery-
(Whether its Windows or Linux, OS's as they are sometimes called, can often times be a real pain the neck. OS's may not boot up, may unexpectedly cause your system to crash, lock up your PC, or just plain refuse to work right. They can also cause you to lose important data in severe cases. We show them who the boss is, and make them obey your every command.)
~Custom Built PC's-
(The truth of the matter is that it really is cheaper to buy the components for a PC and assemble it yourself or have someone like us do it for you. Most name brand PC's come with a ton of software pre-installed that you usually do not want or need, and can really slow down your computer, not only that but in fact your actually paying for it with the price of the computer. They add it in to the price and say its free when in fact if you bought only the PC it would cost you a lot less. Whatever your need for a PC, whether it be E-Mail and Web Browsing, or Gaming, we can custom build a machine built for your specific needs, while saving you sometimes hundreds of dollars.
We service the entire D/FW metroplex. We can and WILL repair ANY problems your having with your PC. We will come to your home or office, saving you the trouble and headache of having to take your PC anywhere, and only charge $0.50 cents per mile traveled. If your less than 10 miles from me, we will wave the trip fee, saving you even more money. Normally we would not charge a trip fee, but, wow, the gas prices are outrageous! (Any price over $2.00 a gallon for gas should be illegal also.)
We charge a flat rate based on the work performed in most cases, just call me for an honest accurate quote wich is usually between $30.00 to $50.00 dollars, however, some jobs may require an hourly labor rate, but its only 25.00 dollars per labor hour. Labored rates are only applicable to repairs or services that would take 3 or more hours to complete. Please keep in mind, that in the event that your PC may need any parts replaced, these rates DO NOT include whatever amount the parts cost, although, we can get your parts at cost, with no markups saving you money on them. We DO NOT make ANY money from the cost of parts.
In rare cases, we may need to bring your PC to our office for the completion of repairs, however there is no cost for this, nor a trip charge for us returning it when the repairs are complete. In the RARE case that we do need to bring your computer back to the office with, a quote for labored hours will be given, and honored, even if the repairs take longer than you are quoted.
If you need ANY repair work done, just give us a call before you call those other guys, we think you will be pleasantly surprised with our services and pricing. We offer a warranty on all work performed, backed by honest reliable service.
We also feel the best advertising is word of mouth. We will make sure your happy with our services, because in all truth we want you to tell your freinds and family about us as well.
Don't let those big companies take you to the bank. Some of those companies have prices so high on their services, that it makes them no better than a thief stealing from the poor. They will rob you blind if you give them half a chance, so save yourself money, time, and the hassle by simply picking up the phone and dialing 817-845-7466 or 817-657-2160.
