Recorded in 1997 Elric Walker's ten song debut CD ODD MAN OUT is set for release in 2005 on the SMOKING MIRROR MUSIC LIMITED EDTIONS label. The CD single I BELIEVE is available *NOW! The anthemic folk-rock I BELIEVE is a tour de force of topical visionary songwriting at its best and has particular resonance "in these strange and troubled times". Elric is joined on the album and on the just released single by some of the finest roots musicians on the American music scene today including guitar great JEFF PEVAR (currently with DAVID CROSBY in the band CPR), Grammy award nominee SETH FARBER on piano and accordian, ABE GUTHRIE(musical partner and famous son of ARLO GUTHRIE) on the b3 organ, taking turns on bass are MARK EPSTIEN (recently with JOHNNY WINTER) and GUY DEVITO, BILL KLOCK is on the drums and the CD features guest vocalists CELIA, SUSAN ANGELETTI, BETH WHALEY and CATHY LAMPRO.
