Welcome to my website hope you enjoy! this site its about las matachines de alcalde the first female group in new mexico my mother Elaine Garcia is the founder of this dancing group we are from alcalde n.m we have performed in many fiestas in n.m, it views the 2005 and 2006 performances we have danced, my sisters and other family members are dancers the rainbow dancers or las matachines de alcalde have also danced with the male group which are los matchines, i find the dance very intresting i love my culture, i also do another performance with the comanches from alcalde, this site also views my brothers and the family band los desert kings which they also play for us at our performances we are very proud of what we do,hope you enjoy this site.
