MISSION STATEMENT:
We are a non-profit corporation, dedicated to the orgagnizational unification and advancement of the Moorish community and the human family. We aim to encourage, increase and further community interest in civic, social, and political affairs of the community by designing
and implementing systems which work for all, as well as serve humanity. By bringing together organizations, funding and developing programs which promote a spirit of harmony, and prosperity
within the community. At Edfu we are utilizing the teachings of our forefathers who have contributed so much in helping to create civilization and educate humanity. Our purpose is to preserve our youth which have been devastated by all the negative elements of soceity, from poor education to negative media. We must secure our future, which means to secure the teachers, politicians, doctors, tailors, and laborers of tomorrow, our children.
MISSION AGENDA:
- To develop programs that will educate children and young adults about the political, social and economic systems in which they live, and how to affect positive change in one's community by utilizing the Edfu Foundation.
- To provide mentorship and counseling which will enhance both personal, mental and moral development.
- To establish programs that develop corporate and business skills necessary for the production of future entrepreneurs.
- To establish a Moorish Learning Center whose objective is to allow investigation, research and gather information on Moorish culture and history.
