Welcome to the Eclectic Information site

Over the next couple of months, as I build this page, you will experience an interesting collage of information. Some I have discovered for myself and others that I have found on the Web. Come back often to explore. I welcome any comments or suggestions and will attempt to respond to all. I am looking for a diverse communication that will look at all views in an open atmosphere. Thanks for coming - I look forward to hearing from you.

There are a number of issues and events I would like to touch on at this site.
There are the basic issues that every woman is concerned with:
Family
Health
Career

Then there are other topics that I would like to touch on:
Religion
Self-worth
Self Confidence

FAMILY

What I would really like to center on in this section is our teenagers. I've done alot of surfing on the Internet and the hardest subject to find - with any quality or actual information - it that of teenagers. They are the "wannabe" adults, who don't have the experience to actually be an adult. I think this doesn't only include the teen ages of 13-19. I believe it starts at an earlier age and continues on into the 20's. I also believe that this doesn't include every teenager. For there are some who actually become resposible adults earlier than others and on the flip side, I believe that (for some) it doesn't end in the 20's.
They want to be adults but don't want the responsiblily of an adult. I for one don't blame them. I don't want to be an adult sometimes either. I think there's times when the majority of us would rather do nothing, or something else - rather than go to work or pay the bills. But most of us know we can't do that. We want to keep the house, with the electric, gas, cable, and telephone still working.
Then there is what I like to call the teenage ignorance. I refuse to call them stupid or any other negative connotation. They don't deserve to hear adults calling them such things. They hear it everyday - from someone. They don't need that. They have enough problems in the outside world. Why add to it? This ignorance is simply the result of not thinking things through. I'm sure there is no adult guilty of that. (yeah, right) These humans (teenagers) have to learn the consequences of not thinking things through. Which really sucks for them sometimes because it can hurt. But they can't listen to us, that would go against the grain of their nature. They have to learn it for themselves or they learn nothing. That's what life is all about, isn't it? If we don't make mistakes - we don't learn valuable life lessons. Now, I realize that some of us don't make mistakes and still learn how to run life. For those of you who have done this, well, congradulations. I wish I had done this, sure would have made life alot less painful. I think we all need life's painful lessons, makes life a bit more interesting and it makes those times when it is painfree extremely wonderful!!
I have to go for now - but not to fear!! I will be back to either add to this section or go on to another. Please e-mail me at the address below if you have anything - anything at all - to say.

If you have a problem, question, or comment - please e-mail me at the address below. I will personnally answer your question - or direct you to another source who can better answer you question.
