Ebenezer Orthodox Reformed Church
Welcome to the Website of the Ebenezer Orthodox Reformed Church.
The reference to Ebenezer tells of our dependence on our Lord's help. This name comes from the Bible. In 1 Samuel 7:12 we read, He named it Ebenezer saying, "Thus far has the Lord helped us."
We call ourselves "Orthodox" because our desire is to remain faithful to the plain and pure teachings of the Bible. More specifically, we believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation (John 14:6) and that we must strictly obey His commands (Matthew 28:20).
The reason for the word "Reformed" is because our roots are in the Reformed Presbyterian tradition and we must always be "Reforming" in accordance with God's Word.
We worship in Brockville, Ontario at 100 Perth St. in the Seventh Day Adventist Church. This service takes place every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. A second teaching service is held at 11:30 a.m.
