A TRUCKERS WIFE(Being a Parent&Christian)
The life struggles that come with living a christian life,and mothering kids,while your husband have to live on the road or work terribly long hour each day to earn enough for his family to live comfortable.And all that they have to put up with while being doing so.
I have heard my husband talk of so many men out there,that have gone through divorce, and the situations that led them to divorce
It is sad and hard because the men go through just as much as the women do.Especially when it comes to living a christian life.
It's not easy for any of us.Because temptation is all around.
Satan is always playing with our emotions.When our husband comes home they feel they deserve attention after being out on the road all week, or just working hard all day. We as wives feel the same way we have been working hard as well trying to keep the house in order.Taking care of the kids,and some of us even work outside the home in different fields of interest,on top of all of that.So our work is cut out for us as well.It's hard to come to an aggreement on anything because both partners feel equally tired and frustrated.The one not understanding the others job, and the effort,time,and hard work it takes to do it.Neither the stress that comes from it. We have the tendency to say and think things like all they had to do is( sit on there behinds,eat,sleep,drive,watch telivision,have fun with the guys or girls,ect)while were left with the major resposibilties. Which is true and not true as well.
I know because I have rode on the truck with my huband for a 1yr straight and driving those long hours behind each other is not an easy job neither working long hours and come home.Also the fact that they have to continue to take suicide trips in order to have a real good pay check,and the trouble that they could get into if the DOT found out about all the illegal driving there doing. Also the fact that if they get into an accident whether it be someone running into them or they hit some one there job is on the line as well as there life. They could serve time in jail for it whether there fault or the other person.Because of illegal driving. So about time they get home they are tired,stress and want to be pampered,and we as wives are feeling the same way.And the both of us feel that the next should be greatful for the work they have done through the week,and all that they have had to put up with.
That's when satan steps in with all sorts of things whether cheating,and trying to get the feeling that your spouce don't or seems to refuse to give you.Yes I say seems because it's not that they refuse too they are just tired as well.It may be temptations like doing drugs,gambling,ect.Anything he can convince you to do.To kill bordom,hurt, loneliness,ect.He will do it,and at the time when we fall into these web of lies he has formed for us.We fail to realize we are falling away from gods grace until we have sunken so for in it that its hard to pull up for air.
Money is gone,bills are due,we could have a disease,and all that hard work is just gone down the drain.Because the main thing you have worked hard for.It's becoming hard to keep any of it.Simply because we bought the lie that the devil told us.That night when you was horny and he or she did'nt seem interested,(maybe they were just too tired)maybe you wanted to talk and they did'nt(maybe they were to stress to do so.So just put god first, pray one for each other,the husband needs prayer like the wife,and the wife like the husband.You don't know what type of lies the devil is feeding the other.And it could be lies about you.That will make them feel insecure,to start doing things they would'nt have normally did.That's not all ways good things neither.If they feel you don't care,they'll start to feel the same way.So Please pray,communicate,and try to understand each other for the sake of the marriage,the kids,and your heart,who wants to break one of them or get there's broken.
We have to put our faith in GOD and continue to do what we know is right.And have confidence in him that he will direct our path and guide us through.withall things ( PRAY WITHOUT CEASING)FEEL FREE TO ADD YOUR COMMENTS,TEXTS,THOUGHTS TO THIS PAGE.
