The wonders of God
The fragrance of flowers blooming in the sun;
Morning dew like diamonds; a sunset when day is done;
Melodies of songbirds as they snuggle in their nest;
The wind rustling the trees as they rest.
These are the wonders of God.
Rivers flowing to the seas, rippling waters as they run;
Mountains with snow caps glistening in the sun.
Oceans sending waves to the shore, making dunes in the sand.
The moon and stars smiling their light upon man.
These are the wonders of God.
A rainbow in the clouds when the storm is over;
Rolling hills and fields of clover.
A new born baby on its mother’s breast;
A rising river before it crests.
These are the wonders of God…
A babe in a manger, from a virgin came;
To bring love to a world that would curse Him to shame.
A cross of death standing high on a hill;
The Savior takes the sins of the world, by His own will.
These are the wonders of God.
