Michael Jordan


Michael Jordan was born on 2-17-1963. He always loved the game of basketball. Michael attended Laney High School in Wilmington, North Carolina where he got cut his sophomore year. But that did not stop Jordan from reaching his dream to play in the NBA. After High School Michael earned a scholorship to play for the University of North Carolina. He took the scholorship and his freshman year Michael led the Tarheels to the Championship game. They faced Patrick Ewing and the Georgetown Hoyas. Michael Hit a last second shot winning the game for North Carolina.

DRAFT
Michael left UNC his junior year to go in the NBA draft. It was succesful. He was the 3rd overall pick in the first round.

NBA CAREER

Michael was a suuden impact in the league and prooved he could play with the elite players in the league. He finished his rookie season as the scoring leader averaging 28.2 points per game,named rookie of the year, and made it to the all star team.
