Help Children that are about to loose their Home
This is a picture of our family BEFORE my husband chose a life of using and selling drugs. Now it is only myself and my two little girls, Hollyanne, age 5 and Brooke, age 4. This is the last photo taken of my husband sober and drug free.
When my husbands drug abuse was discovered after endangering our children & our home, I filed for divorce. He has been out of our home since July of 2003 & even though he is court ordered to pay child support, he refuses to obtain a "legal" job because he wants the girls and I to be homeless.
I work a 40+ hour week for a company that I have been with for over 5 years, and until February of 2004 I was able to keep all of our bills payed. To do so, I had to borrow every available penny that I had saved in my 401K and use up all the credit I had available to me. But unfortunately, it is now all gone. I still have my job but it is not enough to pay for the mortgage, electricity, insurance & daycare for the girls. I have applied for assistance through the county we live in, but have been denied for all because I make approximately $4000. too much per year to qualify. So now, I will be forced to quit my job.
Our home is a small 3 bedroom, 1 bath home built in 1953. My husband had our finances so bad off that all of the equity that had been accumulating is now gone as well.
Please help us with anything you can, even if prayer is what you are able to give, I believe that God will answer them when prayed in unison. I know that no matter how difficult things are for us, there are others out there who have it so much less. Please, always appreciate what God has given you and always remember that "No matter what you put out in life, whether it be good or bad, truth or lies, honesty or deceit, you will receive it back 10 fold".
