Crystal's Dru Hill Page!!!

Hello! to my Dru Hill page. My name is Crystal and I will be your host for the evening. As you can see I deticated my page to the one and only "Dru Hill". I have been a fan since day one and I'm still holding my grounds on supporting them 100%. For those of you who may not know by now, Dru Hill has released their third anticipated album "Dru World Order". After 4 years, their first single off the "DWO" "I Should Be...(Steps)" has had major success. Radio stations, BET, MTV, VH1 and all others that show videos and play music has shown Dru Hill a lot of love and a lot of support. After releasing their debut album "Dru Hill" (Year Of The Dru), I knew for a fact they were a group of guys to keep a close eye on. With songs like "Tell Me", "In My Bed", "Never Make A Promise" and "5 Steps", they were bound to let people hear what they had to say. In a matter of time they released their second album. "Enter The Dru" also brought along a stream of heavy hits such as "How Deep Is Your Luv", "Beauty", "You Are Everything", "These Are The Times", and "Real Freak". With the sky rocket success of "Dru Hill" and "Enter The Dru", there was no stopping them. These guys were on the ball. In Spring of '99, a bomb was dropped. Woody decided to pursue a gospel career. This indication lead Dru Hill to do what they called The Dru World Order. Each member of the group would release a solo album and soon get back together as a group.

In late 1999, front man SisQo unleashed his solo album "Unleash The Dragon". The first single "Got To Get It" showed what he was all about. It still had that Dru Hill edge but it was all SisQo. Next came the booty shakin', up tempo hit "The Thong Song" which had every woman (includin myself) running to Victoria's Secret buying out thongs across the country. Soon after "The Thong Song" was starting to die out, he released his next hit single..."Incomplete". It topped the charts in no time and before we knew it, there was a video starring the beautiful Lisa Raye. Sadly "Unleash The Dragon" was coming to an end, but paid off big time at the 2000 Billboard Awards. Walking away with 6 awards made the fans, himself and especially Dru Hill very pleased. It was more to SisQo then just different color hair, he had a sound that was unique and all his own. Unfortunatelly for some reason, his second album "Return Of Dragon" didn't do as well as "Unleash The Dragon". Hataz? Non-believers maybe? Well whatever it was, I as a true Dru Hill fan believed he was slept on during this album. "Infatuated", "Homewrecker"(one of my favorites), "Close Your Eyes", "Dreams" and "Without You" (feat. Dru Hill) were guarantee hits. In early 2002, Big Woody Rock released his debut solo album intitled "Soul Music". With "My Homey"(feat. Dru Hill), "The Question Is", "Testimony", "A Friend In Me", "How Can I Desert You", and "Clap Your Hands" I promise you, you will not be disappointed. I'll never make a promise that I can't keep. We're still waitin' on Jazz to drop his masterpiece which will be sometime this year so keep a close eye out on that one.

For a short while, we didn't hear anything from Dru. There were even rumors that there wouldn't be a third album but on November 26, 2002 they proved those rumor rats wrong. The "Dru World Order" was dropped and that was all the murder she wrote. Not only had they dropped a new album, they've also added a new member, Scola. He was a solo artist formally known as Ruscola during the time the first and second Dru Hill albums were out. He also worked on Woody's album as well. I honestly feel he should've been a member of Dru Hill from the jump. He fits perfectly. As I described earlier in my write up, their first single "I Should Be...(Steps)" has had huge success. The next single is called "I Love You" and it's a hot joint as well. I recommend this song to any guy who wants to show his girl how much he really loves her. Curious to hear it? Well, no need to look no further, you can check it out in the links below. This album is doing well so far and I believe it will earn them crazy nominations. To make a long story short, Dru Hill has definitely put Baltimore on the map musically. Working at the Fudgery really paid off. For those of you who don't have the "Dru World Order", I suggest you get your copy. It's a HOT HOT HOT album!!! Believe me when I say, it was worth the wait...
