WANG LABORATORIES, BOSTON, MA / NJ / NY.

Part of a team that does customer support and train professionals on
Wang products. At present time I provide customer support and staff
training for Wang Laboratories. I support and instruct staff
personnel ; systems engineers and consultants in Imaging, Workflow,
Document / Form processing management software for distributed
environments.

Alsso, worked as a part of a team that worked in the design,
development, coding, testing and debugging of a large scale
OS/2 client server application:

Developed a multi-threaded application used to test a document
imaging API under OS/2. The application, written in C under OS/2,
was a dynamic-link library that was able to be called directly
from REXX. REXX command files were then written to a scenario to
test the underlying imaging OS/2.

Developed a multi-threaded server module that was written to the
Microsoft ODBC specification. This updated module, written in C
under OS/2 interacted with Microsoft SQL Server, and IBM DB/2.

Fixed and reported bugs for the some releases of an OS/2 based
product. Extensive debugging was required for resolving multi-
threaded function calls, Presentation Manager user interfaces,
SQL queries, LAN transactions, inter-domain transfers, document
archive and retrieval; file management.

Provided technical assistance to the Engineering and Data Processing
departments in the design/implementation of their local computer

in charge of its maintenance. Also, provided training for in - house applications.

Teaching Experience:
As a part of the research and teaching positions I hold/held at The
George Washington University, The City University of New York -CUNY,
and Long Island University - LIU. I am/was responsible for teaching
undergraduate and graduate classes.
My duties include lecturing, syllabus preparation, and administrating
examinations. Among other courses, I taught Assembly Language,
FORTRAN, BASIC, Pascal, Computer Communications, Computer
Architecture, Discrete Mathematics, and Design and Analysis of
Algorithms.

From 1997 I teach with Educational Alliance-VA under a contract with
AT&T and Lucent Technologies.

Research Experience:
Since 1992, my major research topics are Cellular Automata, Neural
Networks, Genetic / Evolutionary Algorithms, Fuzzy Logic, Speech
Recognition and Distributed Computing / Processing.

Within these areas, I have pursued the following avenues:

Used all known paradigms as learning methods for Collective
Learning Automata and Artificial Neural Networks. These systems
were used to model/simulate natural/artificial systems.

Used Artificial Neural Networks for Pattern Recognition.

Various topics in Distributed Processing/Open Distributed Systems.

In 1993 while visiting George Washington University, I collaborated
on a research project involving design, implementation and testing
of ADA compilers / tutorials. The project was under the supervision
of Prof. Michael F. Feldman.
In 1995, I was admitted and participate in the research project
titled, "Word Recognition: From Cochlear nuclei to Temporal Cortex"
