A Dreadful Book of Curses, Hex's, and Jinx's
Babbling Curse ~ no incantation. Causes the victim to babble.
Bat Bogey Hex ~ no incntation. Engorges an oponnent’s bogies to
bat-size, gives them wings, and sets them to attacking his or
her face.
Blasting Curse ~ no incantation. Usefull spell for wizarding
duels.
Canary Transfiguration Hex ~ A temporary hex to change someone
into a giant canary. After a few moments, the transfigured
person molts back into themselves.
Conjunctivitis Curse ~ conjunctiva. A spell that effects the
eyes and vision of the target.
Cruciatus Curse ~ crucio. One of the Unforgivable Curses, this
spell causes the victim to suffer almost intolerable pain.
Some victims of prolonged use of this curse have been driven
insane.
Dark Mark ~ morsmordre. Conjures an immense glowing skull in the
sky, comprised of green sparks. There is a snake coming out
of the skull’s mouth.
Densaugeo ~ dens. Curse which causes the victims teeth to
enlarge grotesquely.
Full Body Bind ~ petrificus totalus. Turns entire body of the
target rigid.
Furnunculus ~ funun. Curse that causes boils to break out all
over the victim.
Horn Tongue ~ no incantation. Conjures a horn on the target’s
tongue.
Hurling Hex ~ no incantation. A nasty curse that could be placed
on a broom which would cause the rider to be thrown off.
Impedimenta Curse ~ impedimenta. Stops or slows down an object.
Imperius Curse ~ imperio. One of the Unforgivable Curses. This
spell causes the victim to be comepletely under the command
of the caster, who can make them do anything they wish.
Insect Jinx ~ no incantation. Sprouts feelers on the victims
head, makes them unable to talk and have to scuttle along the
ground.
Instant Scalping ~ no incantation. As the name suggests, this
hex removes hair.
Jelly Legs Jinx ~ no incantation. Causes the target’s legs to
wobble uncontrollably.
Killing Curse ~ avada kedavra. An Unforgivable Curse. Kills the
target.
Knee Reversing Hex ~ no incantation. Causes target’s knee to
become backwards.
Leek Curse ~ no incantation. Results in leeks growning out of
target’s ears.
Leg Locker Curse ~ locomotor mortis. Locks together the legs of
the victim, making him unable to walk.
Pepper Breath ~ no incantation. Gives the target fiery hot
breath.
Reductor Curse ~ redusen. Blasts objects out of caster’s path.
Slug Curse ~ no incantation. Causes victim to belch up slugs.
Tarantallegra ~ allegro. Forces the victim’s legs to do a crazy
dance.
Theif’s Curse ~ no incantation. An unspecified bit of nastiness,
which can be cast on someone who steals something.
Twitchy Ears Hex ~ no incantation. Causes the ears of the target
to wiggle and twitch uncontrollably.
