More Original Inspirational Poetry
He promised He wouldn't put upon us,
More than we could bear.
But it's so easy for worries to pile up
Until we're so filled with care.
Yet I know that He is able
To take our worries and make them small.
So no matter what things we fear,
He can take care of them all !
All we do is trust in Him.
He always knows what's best.
Let Him lead and we will see,
He will pass us through each test.
Lord, just now my faith does falter.
I don't know what lies ahead.
But, I know that You will be there.
You will do just what You said.
So hold me up when I stumble.
Give me strength when I would fall.
I know Your grace will be sufficient
When upon Your name I call !
My heart is filled with love for You.
I want to serve You every day.
Help me to do what You want me to,
I want to please You in every way!

I knew that he was sick when I wrote this and my
Darling husband, Herb, died on March 15, 2006
God's Spirit is like the wind.
Where it begins no one knows.
Then here and there and everywhere.
Yet we can't see just where it goes.
Sometimes the winds gently blow.
Making the leaves clap their hands in praise!
And the Holy Spirit gently touches you.
Leaving feelings to remember the rest of your days!
The winds blow on the highest hill.
Very seldom down in the valley lows.
But when we feel really down.
That's in the valley, and God's Spirit knows!
He goes down in the valley where you are,
And comforts you with such great love!
And He tells you how much God cares.
And about what awaits you above!
When I'm so down and can't seem to look up.
Look at me, Lord, and please will You send.
Like so very many other times before,
Your Holy Spirit to me in the wind?

Though by myself in a sixteen acre field,
I am still never alone.
When everybody else walks away from me,
I have A Savior of my own!
He's always with me wherever I go.
Always right by my side.
When I am nervous or scared I'm alone,
With me He will still abide!
He calms my fears and fills me with joy.
He tells me I am His own.
And if not one of my friends can be found,
He reminds me I'm still not alone!
All I need to do is call Him in prayer.
Ask Him to stay by my side.
He says, "You are my own, bought by a price.
I'll forever with you abide!"
Don't you need a Savior that loved you enough
To die so you can be free?
Call on Jesus and let Him save you today
Then you too will always see.
He can be all things to all people, forever.
And stay with you each day.
Then in Heaven He'll be there with us, and you'll know
He's been there each step of the way!

There's no worry in my heart about tomorrow!
Because I know that in Heaven there's no sorrow!
Some folks might worry, but to me there'll be no surprise.
I know when my body lies in death - I WILL ARISE!
Yes, I will arise and go to Jesus above,
For He's the Keeper of my soul and my Love.
Just as I breathe my very last breath,
My soul will arise - when my eyes close in death!
He is my Victory, bought on Calvary's tree.
He gave His life so I could be free.
I gave Him my life and He lives in my heart.
All I could give Him, but it was a start!
But, Oh, what a purchase I made for my soul!
To live in God's presence. This is my goal.
Thanking my Jesus, FOREVER AND EVER!
There's plenty of time for separation is never.
So I know part of what the future holds,
For my Bible tells me of God's plan for souls!
How after death and because of God's love,
I WILL ARISE - and go to Jesus above!

"I go to prepare you a place."
That's what He said that day.
"I'm going to talk with My Father."
And that's when He went away!
One day He'll be back to get us.
He could be back any day.
Be ready to go then my brother.
For that's when we'll fly away!
We have a place that is waiting.
He tells us that in His Word.
"Welcome home," from our Father.
Sweetest that ever we've heard!
"Let not your heart be troubled,
I'll be back, be not afraid.
Let not your heart be troubled."
This is the promise He made!

Some folks in this day and time,
Say that God has changed - no never!
My God tells us in His Word.
He's the same yesterday, today and forever!
They say there are other ways
To get through Heaven's gate.
I pray that Jesus goes to them
Before it is to late!
It's God's will that all should know.
That for us there is a place.
He wants you to call on Jesus.
To find out about His grace!
The saving grace available to all
Who turn away from their sin.
And ask Jesus into their heart
Then forever He will live within.
But Jesus is the only Door
Through which we attain the prize.
Of life forever in the presence of God.
In His Heaven beyond the skies!

His boundless love, holds me safe
Through the storm!
Though storms of life are ever near,
He is with me I've no fear.
His boundless love, always keeps me,
Safe and warm.
He's coming back, Oh, one day soon!
Won't you come and go with me?
To the home He has prepared
For those who care.
And when we see His blessed face,
We can thank Him for His grace,
For eternal life, and for,
His boundless love!
