Faith Lehane
Joss' decision to give Faith a surname... this revalation is insanity... she shouldnt have a surname... she's just Faith.
Dont even get me started on the whole pronouncing it thing, as its been decided now(after BtVS & AtS have both finished) it will never be mentioned on either BtVS or AtS, as they have both had their final episodes. It will only ever be said if by some miracle Eliza is persuaded to do "Faith the Vampire Slayer" (thats a whole other rant).
So there really is no point to giving her one now, it is apparantly to be used in any novels or graphic novels written from now on.
Does this mean that he's given Kendra a surname... he cant have, it would mean going against his own cannon "I have no last name sir" <<<< Kendra, BtVS S2 'Whats my line p2'.
Joss is such a prat.

Faith Spencer
This is what Faith's surname should be, many fanfic writers use this as her surname... I have no idea who started it but many people have followed suit.
Alternatively, Faith Winters does make sense, in the obvious 'Buffy Summers/Faith Winters' opposites theory.

Faith the Vampire Slayer
Eliza has always said that it was a toss up between doing Tru Calling or Joss creating a Faith show for her... she disapointed a lot of people when she turned down Joss' offer.
She did it for a good reason, everyone can understand the need to not be tied to one character for a long period of time. But I for one would have loved for her to have done both...
It shouldnt have been a continuation from BtVS S7, Chosen(the Final episode)... for obvious Pricipal Robin Wood reasons; but it should have been set when she was in prison... for obvious f/f opertunities *evil grn*
