Slide Zone/Migdahlohr Productions is an all encompassing entertainment company. Aside from independent film and local event production SZM manages talent and can provide performers for your events. WHAT IS A MIGDAHLOHR?
Migdahlohr is the Hebrew word for Lighthouse. Since the company's owner is a Judaic Specialist and like lighthouses it seemed appropriate. The word itself actually means tower of light.
WHAT IS A SLIDE ZONE THEN?
Slide Zone is a name that refers to The Slide Zone Project, a project co-founded by Michelle Gussow and Jeff Matheus to bring free arts and entertainment events to the community of Indianapolis and surrounding areas. They thought the name sounded good. Originally, the production company was a small part of the project so the name was attached. Now the production company is the parent of the project.
