HOT STONE MASSAGE AND SHIATSU

Hot Stone therapy has become one of the most requested massage treatments in spas and practices around the world.
Used hot or cold, everyone will love the wonderful feel and good energy of these natural healing tools.
Our basalt massage stones will leave you feeling grounded, relaxed, and happy.
Hot stone therapy also effectivly increases circulation while allowing deeper work within the scheduled time.
The heat and cold retention capabilities of Hot Stones make them excellent thermotherapy tools.

When warmed, the natural heat given by the stones warms the muscles and quickly relaxes the client. This allows the therapists to do deeper, more specific work in the time allowed for the massage.
When frozen, they reduce inflammation to injury and can be used in all cases that ice would be appropriate.
The alternating of heat and ice is a well-practiced method of releasing toxins and increasing circulation.
Hot Stones provide a uniform element to apply the heat and cold while preventing cold drips from the ice bag.

THIS THERAPY IS AVAILABLE AS AN ONE AND A HALF HOUR HOT STONE SESSION. COME AND ENJOY THIS AMAZING DEEP,DEEP,RELAXATION THERAPY. To BOOK AN APPOINTMENT CALL 501-609-0300

Zen Shiatsu

Zen Shiatsu is a form of the Japanese healing arts. Like acupressure, Shiatsu makes use of direct pressure. An almost meditative state on the part of the practitioner allows intuition to assist in directing the treatment. While some people consider meditation as a still form, Zen Shiatsu is meditation in movement.
The practitioner uses stretches, compression and range of motion whilst placing the client in different positions including lying flat, sitting, and side-lying. Finger and hand pressure are applied to the body to help clear and balance the energy channels known as Meridians.

Chi or Qi

The circulation of the life giving energy in the body,
must stay at a constant balance to maintain good health.
Blockages of this energy may result in stagnation which leads
to disharmonies in the body. Symptoms of imbalances may include
anything from skin irritation, swelling, muscular pain, excess mucous and fat, to memory loss, and stress. The state of balance is also known as the harmony of the Yin and the Yang.
