Car Posters by Donna Wolfkill

Donna Wolfkill has been involved in creating beautiful Nostalgic Automotive Art for over 30-some years. Donna has traveled over half-a-million miles to photograph historical old landmarks to bring to life in her oil paintings. The cars she has chosen to include in the paintings, are from the automotive events where she has displayed her prints. She uses either street-rods or restored vehicles to create the mood and the feeling of the painting.

Donna retired from the show circuit in 2001. She is now working on a new look for her paintings. She has introduced the newest print called "The Roots of Rodding". This print takes you back to the first years of rodding when the true "hot-rods" first appeared. The cars include a "32" 5-window coupe, a "28/29" Ford Roadster, and a "32" Ford Hi-boy Roadster.

Donna has started her "60's series" relics. The first is "The Impala Ranch". This print covers 1960 through 64 Chevy Impalas.

Donna has started a new business of creating beautiful car posters on her computer. She looks at the vehicle as a 3-D art form and uses photos of the car to create a background to enhance the lines and colors of the car. You can send Donna pictures of your favorite car and she will create a 20X30 signed poster for you. She also offers special poster framing with quality materials at wholesale prices. Her expertise in marketing quality art prints carries over to this new business so the customer receives a poster that can be displayed with your car to enhance the showing. The description board on the poster helps the public, as well, to understand what it takes to build a beautiful car. You may see one of her designs in the gallery.

Donna is also devoting time to designing a new look to her art. This will be done on the computer and then hand-touched for a realistic look. These new pieces will be available in the near future.
