Unlock Extreme Match Race
To open up a hidden match race mode, "Extreme", beat all three standard difficulty levels. Once you have beaten Avalanche Alley: No Way Out, the Hard final challenge, wait for the credits to finish. The extreme course will now appear on the Match Race main screen.
Earn New Costumes
To get an alternate costume for your character, finish the Hard Match Race. You will only unlock a new outfit for the character you used to beat the mode.

You can jump right to the timed final challenges in the game's Match Race mode. To do so, enter the following codes at the options screen:

Go into the options menu, select "Difficulty" and set it to "Very Easy". Next, save the game in the options menu and return to the main menu. Select arcade mode and you will have more time in each level, until you reach into the last level and complete the game.

Successfully complete each of the four parking levels to unlock an additional parking level. Successfully complete the bonus parking level to unlock a sixth parking level.

Win the World Cup with an Asian team to unlock the All-Asian team in a friendly match.

Arizona Treasure chest:
At the start of the level in roaming or racing mode, go in reverse until you pass the train tracks. Then, go to the right until you see a derailed train. Stop at the front of the train then go right until you reach a canyon with a piece of road and two hills in the middle. In between the two hills are two small houses. The treasure chest is located in between the houses.
Autumn Leaves: Treasure chest:
At the start of the level, follow the road until you get to a church. Behind it is a treasure chest.
Castle Rock: Treasure chest:
Go back about 100 feet from where you start. There should be a skeleton guarding a treasure chest.
Costa Rica Rally: Treasure chest:
From the start, head east until you reach a temple. That is where you can find a treasure chest. If you cannot find the temple, go to the contour map and look for a small light gray area.
Crazy 2001: Treasure chest:
Go to the southwest corner of the lake near the start to find a treasure chest with money.
Farm Road 109: Shortcut:
When trying to use the shortcut across the railroad tracks, use the Jeep Liberty Sport. It can almost always get across before the train crosses if you approach from the right side of the tracks.
Farm Road 109: Treasure chest:
The treasure chest is located at the center of the lake.
Laguna del Sol: Treasure chest:
After Checkpoint 3, drive onto the large island straight ahead of the checkpoint to find a treasure chest.
Pikes Peak: Treasure chest:
Go to the lake that is the furthest from the end of the track. The treasure chest can be found on the land between the lakes.
Restricted Area: Treasure chest:
Find the hanger with the UFO inside then go to one of the corners to find a treasure chest with money.
Thailand Rally: Treasure chest:
Pause game play and go to the contour map. Go to the bottom right corner of the map and press R until the map stops. Just to the left of the island is a brown spot. That is the Temple Of The Dancing Buddha, which is where a treasure chest is located.
Treasure Bay: Treasure chest:
From the start, follow the road until you see a ship on the beach. Go to the side of the ship where the sign is on the beach. The treasure chest is on that side of the ship. Note: You can only get the treasure chest by driving your truck alongside the ship. Start towards the back of the ship, facing towards the front. Drive slow to get the treasure chest.

Successfully complete the normal challenges in a level to unlock its FMV sequence.

Better pitching
The best pitchers have a pitch called a "Slurve" (for example, Mark Burhele of the Chicago White Sox). Also try the "Dominate Curve" with Pedro.
Restore pitcher's energy
In season, franchise or expansion mod, go to the DL, and put any pitcher on the15 day DL. Then immediately take him back into your lineup. He will have recovered all his energy.
Better franchise or expansion mode teams
Use trades to get rid of your older less talented players for slightly better players. Even if the CPU rejects your trade, keep trying repeatedly and it is usually eventually accepted. However, make the trade reasonable, such as B- for a B or B+. If the player you really want just does not seem to want to join your team, try trading for another player who is slightly better, then return to that player you want and try again. Do this every season to keep good young players.
Easy cards
Use the following trick to unlock all the cards in one or two games. Once you unlock the Cooperstown Legends and the Pixels, play as the Legends. You will find that within the fifth or sixth inning, every hit equals ten points and possibly more. Constantly hit homeruns and strike out the batters and you should have forty to fifty packs to open after the game. This is the easiest way to complete your card collection and unlock the cheats.
All-Star Baseball 2004 Cheats

Change jerseys in franchise mode:
Before playing in a franchise mode game, go to quick play, and on the team's options highlight "Change Uniform". Go back, exit quick play, load the franchise, and when you get to the play game screen on options, your pointer will be on the blacked out uniform part. Press A and you can change uniforms. Once you change lineups or pitchers, this option is no longer available; it only works for that one game.
Demote player without other teams claiming him off waivers:
Go to the player editor and make all his stats to D- so that no teams would want to claim him off waivers. When you want to promote a player back to the Major Leagues, change his ratings back to his default settings.
Easy points:
Start a two player game, with only one actual player. Throw a perfect game, striking out every batter. Save the game in the bottom of the ninth inning with two strikes and two outs. Finish the game, collect your points, and save the options. Reload the game and repeat to collect the points again.
Change to the team that you are facing and make them play poorly, allowing your original team to score a lot of runs. In the last inning, switch back to your team and claim your team's cheaply made points.
Free balls:
If you are down in the count or need a quick ball, pretend to lay down a bunt. Pull back while the pitcher is in his motion. This should result in a ball being thrown. Note: This only works up to two times in an at bat.
Hint: Throw hard 4 seam fastball correctly:
If you have a pitcher or created player that throws a hard 4 seam fastball, always place the pitching cursor below where you want the pitch to go. The pitch will automatically rise after the pitcher releases it. However, with other pitches (curveball, slider, changeup, etc.) the ball will end up where you put the pitching cursor.
Restore pitcher's energy:
Wait until your pitcher has low energy then pause game play. If your pitcher is still on the mound, go to "Save Game and Quit", then save the game. Restart the system, and when you go to the main menu, load the game. When you finish loading, it should automatically take you back to the game, and it should show your pitcher on the mound with the full green energy bar.
View player's energy in franchise mode:
When at the main menu in franchise mode, go to "GM Office", then "Roster Management", then "Disabled List". Look through your players to see which ones are tired (except pitchers). If a starting player is tired, you should bench and rest him for one game.
