I'm not sure if I understand the reasoning behind our country's talk of bombing Iraq.
The last time the US publicly talked about military action against another country was just before the Bay Of Pigs invasion - that was a disaster.
And why now?
Why not 4 years ago, when Iraq expelled the weapons inspectors?

For the last three days I was in Las Vegas!
It was just about everything I expected it to be.
I walked around visiting the many theme hotels. I took lots of pictures and video.
I may be editing the video soon into a 2nd home video.
I didn't do much gambling. This trip was more for sightseeing.
On Sunday, I took a short flight to visit the Grand Canyon.
I felt very privleged to view such an awe inspiring sight.
Monday, I drove to the Hoover Dam.
If I had realized that Area 51 was only 100 miles north of Vegas, I would have driven there too!
The funniest time I had there was when I was in the hotel/casino called New York New York.
2 people asked to have their picture taken with me - as Stern!
That made everybody's day!
9/20/02
I went to East Hartford to be a part of an evening of entertainment at The Stage East.
No music, just some impersonater work. (I wrote some of the material).
This is the furthest I've ever travelled to do a show as Howard Stern.
10/1/02
Bonjour!, I'm in Paris!
The first thing I did was to walk up all 675 steps in the Eiffel Tower! I then walked over to the Arch Of Triumph.
Paris is very interesting.
10/2/02
I did a bit of travelling today. I rode the train into London!
I rode a tour bus around the city, was photographed by Big Ben and went into Madame Tussaud's.
10/3/02
Today I walked around Champs Elysee and visited the Louvre. I finally saw the Mona Lisa!!! I also saw my first mummy!
I also visited the Rodin museum ("The Thinker" statue).
Afterwards, I bought my own food at a market.
Tonight's activity ended with a visit to: The Paris Auto Show. I saw GM's "Hy Wire". This car runs on hydrogen instead of gasoline!
10/4/02
Today was slow. I visited the town of Bordeaux for a few hours.
10/5/02
Event filled and busy;
Musee D'Orsee, The French wax museum, The Salvador Dali Museum, watched a street long wine harvest celebration and stopped in a resturaunt for a fine meal.
I then took a subway over to the Piere LeChase cemetary to visit the graves of Jim Morrison, Frederick Chopin and many others.
I then walked around the night club section of the Bastille area.
10/6/02
Today started with a train trip to Orleans, France.
When I arived back home, I walked over to the History Of Paris Museum and then to the Picasso Museum.
I would have stayed in the area to view the "History Of Paris" show (just like "The New York Experience" or the "Where's Boston" exhibits), but I have an early plane to catch back to the US.
10/7/02
Back home again and just in time to attend the Lehigh Valley Music Awards at the Sterling Hotel in Allentown.
(nope, I didn't get an award this year).
10/29/02
Another obituary. Another friend. Al Guererro, a blues bass player from this area. Talented, knowlegeable, played everywhere with everybody and one heck of a guy, passed away yesterday. He was suffering from walking pneumonia. They think it might have been a heart attack. He was only 45.
11/01/02
Tonight, I visited The Red Elvises at their gig in Allentown.
They were fun to hang around with. Earlier, I went to see Emily's Toybox across town. They played here the night before - it was Halloween! (yes, I went dressed as Howard Stern!).
11/26/02
Interview of a lifetime!
Tonight, I saw Eyes Adrift perform at The Khyber Pass in Philadelphia. The band has Krist Novoselic (Nirvana), Curt Kirkwood (Meat Puppets) and Bud Gaugh (Sublime).
Each member recorded a station ID for my show at WDIY and Krist was kind enough to let me record a few minutes of conversation with me!
11/29/02
A car bomb at a hotel and 2 missles fired at an airplane in Kenya.
How soon before that starts happening here?
12/15/02
My Birthday! I celebrated by driving to Reading to see Christy Jefferson and Jolene (of Jolene & Daisey) perform at The Hard Bean Cafe! They sang 'Happy Birthday' to me!

Now, I'm back home - watching cartoons.

Why didn't the powers that be anticipate this?
5/19/03
I spent the whole day at a mansion in Upstate New York being a contestant for ABC TV's "Perfect Match". It's a TV dating show.
No I didn't get chosen, but it was an interesting experience!
5/28/03
I've just spent the last three days in Las Vegas for a look-a-likes convention. I might be on a new TV show!

We all finally met this 'mystery girl', and were taped meeting her.
After that, I went to a poetry reading in Hoboken.
6/19/03
I tried getting on The Howard Stern Show again, this morning. I brought 2 girls with me. We were interviewed on camera outside, but didn't get to go on the air. (try again, next week?).
7/10/03
I was walking through Time Square at 11PM. A scene from the next DAREDEVIL movie was being filmed. I asked if they needed extras - no,...
As I was walking away, someone shouted 'Howard!'. I turned to see who it was - It was Ben Affleck!
7/24/03
Just another night of networking, playing and club hopping in NYC!
8/14/03
Yesterday, a massive internet worm - today a massive power outtage.
Yeah, I know it's not terrorism - but it sure could be mistaken for it!
(remember the 9 state outtage in '96?).
9/7-8/03
I visited Las Vegas to attend the premere of ATOMIC CITY (I'm in it!), and I've finally visited AREA 51! Now my life is complete!

Well, I've finally entered the 21st Century: I've bought an MP3 player!
5/15/04
This afternoon, I opened up for former MCA recording artists, The Catholic Girls. It was a fun gig! Roxy, the guitarist, joined me for two songs. She and I recorded the 2 songs some years ago.

Well, this was different - I was hired with a bunch of impersonators to appear at an art opening in NYC.
A real celebrity, LOU REED, showed up!
2/1/05
This past Sunday, there was an audition at CBGB's.
INXS is going around to different cities to audition a new lead singer.
Publicity aside;
Not that I don't have the confidence in my showmanship, I just don't feel that I have the same gusto in my vocal quality as the late Michael Hutchence.
7/24/05
While walking along the clubs in NYC (open mic nights), I walked in Kenny's Castaway's + shook hands with Pete Best (he was playing there!).
