HISTORY OF THE IMPERIUM OF SOCIALIST REPUBLICS
With the disintegration of the Democratic Nation of Urop, a power vacuum was created; which left the former republics in a state of perpetual chaos and anarchy. These elements allowed terrorist, internal and external, to fuel the flames of hate, fear, and mistrust. The economy fell as crime rose. An exodus into neighboring nations exploded; causing an international boycott of all citizens from all of the dissolving republics.
Out from the ashes and aftermath of the dissolution, a previous little-known political organization known as the "People's Socialist Party" / P.S.P.; rose to the forefront, and seized ultimate "command and control" of the citizens, and all national organizations of power. The P.S.P. was instrumental in the collapse of the D.N.U.; from behind the scenes, and from within the shadows.
The P.S.P. had provided materials and financial aid to various organizations and military officers; which eventually brought about a coup d'etat. After the plans were set in motion, and the government was toppled; the People's Socialist Party seized power from the military junta, and established the Imperium of Socialist Republics I.S.R. The tactic of : "DIVIDE and CONQUER" was employed by the leadership of the P.S.P.:...."set the 'dominos' up...have 'others' knock them down...then go in and pick up the pieces".
The P.S.P. had the foresight to place men and military materials in strategic locations throughout all of the republics. This allowed the P.S.P. to take charge, and command the peoples loyalty; with the promise of employment, peace, and a stable economy.
Even with all of the planning; lands and people were lost to various nations during the interim of powers. The former D.N.U. colony of Olive Branch Islands was seized by the nation of Vetlanda. The Republic of Ryukyzia was incorporated into the sphere-of-influence of the nation of Lacrosse-Michardie. Northern provencies of Tungusia were seized and occupied by the nation of Australis. Currently the Imperium of Socialist Republics / I.S.R., is a geographically divided nation. But the will of the people is still unified as a singular nation.
Currently there is a strong desire from the masses; for the reunification of all lands formerly united as 'one'. The official position of the government of the Imperium of Socialist Republics is; to allow the people of those seized lands to petition for a vote of reunification at the Scandia United Nations, and other international organizations. As of yet; no formal summit has been established, for the debate and discussion of such topics.
The government of the Imperium of Socialist Republics is divided into four councils: Executive, Legistlative, Legal, and Military. The people of the I.S.R. have the right to vote on all localized elections of candidates, and issues that directly effect their daily lives. All national and international issues of government, are directed by the appointed members of the People's Imperium Parliment / P.I.P.
The insignia featured above, is the Official Insignia of State of the Imperium of Socialist Republics. The color red, symbolizes the blood that has been, and shall be, shed for the "Motherland" of the Imperium. The sledge represents the industrial and military power of the Imperium. While the sickle is symbolic of the vast agricultural wealth of the Imperium.
