My Very Own Den of Ill Repute
This is my rather meager site devoted to . . . well, whatever the hell I want it to be devoted to because it's my site! That's the great part about having your own site. You can put up whatever you want to! Please explore as much as you'd like, but give me some feedback! It's my lifeblood!
A little about me before you go on. . . not that I think anyone will really read it, but I can always hope that special someone will read what I have to say and be gobsmacked, have to immediately meet me, then marry me, with us living subsequently happily ever after! Manic-ness done.
About me:
I'm a 24 year old teacher in Illinois. I have primary level special needs students, and I enjoy my job about 80% of the time. Well, as we are nearing the end of the school year, maybe more like 50%. It's like Lord of the Flies in there some days!
I adore reading, writing, art, theatre, music, politics, and cooking.
I am a vegetarian who loves all animals except birds. (Filthy beasts, so you go ahead and have your chicken McNuggets!)
I have a very codependent cat who likes to bite me and just generally bug the crap out of me. (I blame most typo's on him.)
I supported Howard Dean for president in 2004, and am nothing but pissed off that we now have two pretty big fuckwits to choose from. But then again, that's what Amerrican politics are all about... a race for the middle with the absoloute MOST mediocre candidates we can find! (RANT, DONE!)
I don't watch a lot of TV, but the show's I am pretty religious about are: Will and Grace, ER, and the West Wing. I find Whoppi HILARIOUS, but don't always watch.
I also love to travel, so whenever I can I'm off-off-and-away to far distant lands. (Read Las Vegas, Seattle, New York, Michigan, et al.) I adore being on the move and meeting new people, and Southwest airlines as well as ATA love me. I think I've been one of the airlines only steady customers with all this economic junk going on!
I take constructive criticism well, so please, if you see something that needs to be fixed, drop me an e-mail. I would rather be wrong and be able to fix it than look like an ass, especially on un-betaed work. I like for things to be the absoloute best they can, and I work very hard to make them just that, but we all have bad typing days, so let me know!
