Our endeavors having never wavered in our commitment through medical research, to find a cure for muscular dystrophy and related neuromuscular diseases.

Tall Cedars participation in Delaware

For the purpose of promoting Cedarism, which is more closely tied to the principles of Freemasonry than any other similar organization. The root and virtues of Cedarism are those of Freemasonry. But there is one significant difference. The Tall Cedars of Lebanon is an organization guided by a devotion to fellowship, the most affordable of the extended degrees.

Though we retain the traditional Masonic emphasis on equality for brothers and for all mankind, the Tall Cedars adds a new dimension. We recognize man's need for fun and relaxation, for a time to frolic, for a time to enjoy the fellowship of his friends, family and neighbors. Thus, through our creed - "Fun, Frolic and fellowship" - we offer every Master Mason an opportunity for enrichment; to enjoy a fuller, more satisfying life by balancing the seriousness of life's responsibilities with the necessary diversion of light-hearted recreation.

What are we all about is probably best expressed in the preamble of our constitution:
"To provide for social entertainment and innocent recreation; to promote wider friendship and acquaintance among men already bound by fraternal vows; to perpetuate itself as a fraternal and social organization."
The three F's "Fun, Frolic and Fellowship" bring together all Masons and their families, to further the true fraternal spirit that exists within Freemasonry.

We wish to promote social entertainment, recreation, fun, and sincere friendship among Master Masons and their families.
We hope, by our unity in recreation, to bind all Masons more closely together and further the goals of Freemasonry.
We wish to promote cordiality and peace between Masons and all man kind.
Finally, and perhaps most important, we pursue an objective for the elimination of Muscular Dystrophy. The Tall Cedars of Lebanon have an unyielding commitment to provide "a place in the sun" for the many thousands of afflicted neuromuscular disease victims who, through their own means, may not otherwise be able to share and experience the joy's of life that we so often take for granted. To this we devote the entire commitment that is within the Tall Cedars.

WE WEAR A RED ROSE, AS AN EMBLEM OF OUR COMMITMENT TO ELIMINATE MUSCULAR DYSTR0PHY, WHICH HAS BECOME THE SIGNATURE OF A TALL CEDAR.
