Hi My name Is David Symchych and welcome to my website. Over the last few years I have written over 30 poems and songs. I was born in 1975 in Winnipeg MB. But I spent most if my life around Dauphin MB Canada. And Over the last few years I have gone and taken some upgrading. I dedicate this site to the following people that have inspired and encouraged me to never give up my dreams in my life.
My mother and father Joe and Joan Symchcyh.
Lyndon Bournon who helped me get this site going and all my teachers. Derek Day who first give me the idea to make a webpage.
And all of my friends I thank all of you for being there for me.
THE PRAIRIE WIND
Blow ye ol' prairie wind down through the valley across the land.
As long as you don't blow my crops away.
Come along now ye ol' prairie wind come and bring the rain to my make my crops grow. But don't come along with hail and flatten my crops so that I have no money at the end of the year to pay my bills. Come along now ye ol' prairie wind. And bring me good weather so that I can provide for my family down on the old farm.
To the day I die but before that time comes I will be looking up the skies. For you old prairie wind so keep on coming ye ol prairie wind.
COME ALONG WITH ME MY LOVE
Come with me my love and we shall begin on this journey in our lives. Come along now and take my hand and let's begin the journey it starts today. We will go walking down by the lake on the north shore. And we will talk about what the the days ahead will bring us. We have many things to talk over in the next few days before the big day in our lives. Such as where are we going to live together? The big day is on Saturday and I know we our nerrous about it. But we will get through this together because our love for each other is strong. Well the big day has come and gone now and we are at home sitting by the fire in the living room listeing to an old country song. And I look over at you and ask for a dance and you take my hand in ours and we dance for hours. Then the kids walk in from school with lots to tell about their day. Like what they did for the day.
We try and hear them all but they all talk at the some time so I have to say,"One at a time you guys I can't hear you all at once!" But we are happy to have them all in our lives.
DOWN BY THE BAYOU
I shall meet you down by the bayou my love.
Then we well go walking together in to town and see all the people talking about us. But I say let them talk all they what to. It is only talk after all is it not. And you say yea let them talk all they what to I don't care what they have to say about us. So let's get going am getting bored if them already.
So we go walking down the road by the old school that we went to as kids. We started talking about the old days gone by when we were kids back there many years ago in our lives. Like the first time we met in class. It was in my seecond year of grade five I think was it not. Yes it was about that time in our lives.
I would to ask you something that my change the rest of our lives together. Do you have any ideas as to what I meant ask you about? I don't know what you are thinking about asking me.
Will you be mine for the rest of are lives together?
Yes I will be yours forever.
THE OLD MAN BY THE SEA
The old man sat by the sea watching the boats go by.
Remembering the old days gone by.
He used to be a man of the sea in his younger years.
So now in his old age he sets down by the sea.
Watching the boats go by and talking to who ever my come by.
About the good old days when he was a man of the sea.
And he thinks about what his life used to be like.
When he worked on the boats.
BY MY SIDE
Come along with me my darling and you shall be safe by my
side. By my side you have nothing to fear.
I will be standing by your side my darling for time indefintely. So come along and take my hand.
My love you are the only one that I want by my side for the rest of my life. I feel the same way too darling.
So let's go for a walk together we will go.
With you by my side I am a happy man.
GO AND TALK TO THE OLDER ONE'S AND BECOME WISE
The wise man is the older one why do say this because in age a man becomes wise.
But sometimes it is the women that are wise in their years.
So you young ones go and talk to the older ones and become wise to. You may think that you can't learn any thing form them but you are very wrong in this way of thinking because you have missed out on a big opportunity. Now do you see my way if thinking? Now that you have talked to the older ones have you become any wiser in your way of thinking?
You must always take the time to talk to the older ones that you see each day of your life. It doesn't have to be a long at all just short time is all it takes.
TOGETHER WE ARE UNITED AS ONE
Together we are united as one force one unit.
Together we shall prevail.
With you by side there is noting that we can't overcome.
What ever my come our way we will overcome it as one force united we can win. So let's go and see what comes our way today.
A MOTHERS LOVE IS LIKE A FINE ROSE
A mothers love is like a fine rose she is always there.
When you need someone to talk to she is always there for you.
She is there through the good and bad times in your life.
She is there to hold you when you are sad and you are down.
Yes a mothers love is like a fine rose a true thing of beauty.
Yes a mothers love is something that you can cherish throughout your life.
WHO ARE YOU TO TELL ME HOW TO RUN MY LIFE
Who are you to tell me what to do with my life?
It is my choice to do what I went to do with my life not yours to make for me. So way don't you get lost and stay away form me.
I don't need need you to tell me how to run my life.
Man why are you raining on my pride?
Because I don't like being told what to all the time.
But it is for your own good that I tell you these things.
Well am getting tired of hearing you telling how to do things all the time. Hey man just cool off will you.
Who are you to tell me to cool off?
That is it am out of hear.

MY LOVE FOR YOU IS LIKE A RAGING INFERNO
My love for you is like a raging inferno when you came in to the room my heart is on fire.
Come over here and I will show you what am talking about.
And she comes closer to me and my heart is on fire for her.
She is so close to me I can semll her perfume.
And she is on fire for me to I take her in my arms and we dance around the room.
Then we kiss each other by now our love for each outer is like araging inferno out if control.
Like an inferno we are out of control we don't know what might happen next but we don't care because we are love with each other.
OUT ON PATROL
Out on on patrol I see things that you may never went to see in your lifetime.
But that is part of my job.
I have seen things that would make any persons blood boil.
I have had knives pulled on me in the past and other weapons also. But I am still here to talk about it today.
I have handcuffed people in the past it is not something I enjoy doing but it had to be done.
Some people are easy to deal with but once in a while you get some real jerks. But you take them as they come to you the good and the bad.But at times I have lot of fun with people.
That is what my day is like out on patrol. So I might see you sometime out on my patrol. So look out I might be there watching you.
HOW WISH THAT I WOULD HAVE TOLD HER
There once was a young girl who I had feelings for but I never told her this. To this day she does not know how feel about her but some day I well tell her.
Some day in the near future when I see her again I well tell what I feel in my heart for her.
I only wish that I told of my feelings long ago but I was young and did not know how to tell her.
I have heard that she is in town somewhere but I have not seen her as yet but the day will come when we will see each other again.
Then I will tell her how I feel about her but to that day comes this I will keep locked in my heart.
But my life must go on she is not the only one that I have had feelings for but she is the one that is always on my mind.
I wish her the best in all that she does in her life.

WHERE HAS MY HIGHLAND LASSIE GONE
Where has my highland lassie gone oh my God tell me where has my highland lassie gone. For I have not seen her at all today.
Oh God where could she be today. Oh my God help me find her.
For I have looked every were I can think of to look for her.
And I have not find her as yet so now am asking you my God for help in finding my highland lassie. Has she gone and left me tell me my God has she gone and left me.For of she has gone and left me I think I might go crazy with without my highland lassie beside me tonight.Where has my highland lassie gone Oh my God tell me where has my highland lassie gone today.
With your help am sure to find her somewhere.
Oh there she is my highland lassie. Sitting down by the sea. why
didn't I think of looking there in the frist place. I thank you my god for helping me find my highland lassie today.
THE HIGHLAND LASSIES ARE COMING
Here comes my highland lassie now she is coming over the hill. Down in the valley she will be here soon my highland lassie for she is coming over the hill now as we sepek. So let's get ready for her my lads go wash up boys for my highland lassie is to be here soon and I can't have you looking like that. When she gets here. Go and put the dishes on the table my young boys. And I will get the wine. Tonight we shall have some fun we well have a dance then song a few tunes. Here is my highland lassie now but where are your lassies my lads for they have not come as yet. But am sure they well be hear soon so lets have some wine will we welt for them to get here. What is that I hear? Is that more highland lassies coming over the hill. Yes it is more highland lassies coming over the hill. They will be here soon so someone go and get more wine for the table. And we shall have a good time tonight my lads. For we shall dance the night away. So come now my lads take your lassies by the hand and we shall beign the fun tonight.
YOUNG LADS COME AND TAKE YOUR LASSIES BY THE HAND
Young lads take your lassies by the hand and we well have a dance tonight. We shall dance to daylight comes over the hills in the valley. Come now me lads take your lassies by the hand and we shall beign. Old Joe get out your fiddle and lets get the danceing going tonight. Someone go and get me a dink am getting dry. Thats better am not so dry now. By the time the night is over am going to be drunk I might not be abel to walk a home.
But who wents to go home any I know I don't went to.
Am going to dance the night away so come and join me lads.
Hey where are you going what that bottle leave it here with me.
It whale be here when you get back but not likely of I have any thing to do with it. Were is my lassie were did she go someone tell me were she went. She went home she had enough of your dinking for tonight. Well she could have told me that herself. If she thinks that am going to come home she had better think agion becausce am not going to daylight comes over the hills. I kwon she well give me hell but I don't care tonight am to durnk to care at all abuot her. Well daylight has come at last I better get home. Hey baby how's it going.
Don't you hey baby me were the hell your you last night getting
drunk again as you always do. so what am home now so come over here. Why should I come over there. Because I went you to come over here a have something for you. What have you got for me.
You have to come over here to see what I get for you .
And she comes over to me and I give her a new nacklance.
And then we hug each outher.
HELLO OUT THERE
Hello out there is any one there at all. Bcause am bored out of my skull.
I need someone to talk to someone that a can have a conversation with. That is all there in the head.
Not like some people I have meet in my life they need to get their lives together.
Hello out there is there any one at all that can full them boots?
Any one at all that full this talk to me.
You can call me at home or on my cell. Or email me or send me a letter. Or talk to me on the street sometime.
Would someone just talk to me that is all am asking for.
