Darlington South Park Bowls Club

Darlington South Park bowls club was formed back in 1896. The club has a long history of champions and memories going back into the 1800's, anybody playing there will know photo's of the typical bowler with his pipe and cap still exist at the club.
The Club was originally called Darlington Park until several greens in the Darlington area were built which meant a name change.
The bowls club plays at the main park in Darlington which is a popular attraction for flowers, birds, playing fields and childrens areas. When bowlers are sulking in defeat there is also an ice-cream cafe to comfort eat!!!

Darlington South Park Club is still a popular club in the area but desperateley requires more members, this meant that unfortunately our B team had be withdrawn from the league.
