Raise your character the best way
1-Wizard stong magic power Whats its need? More defense and Magic skill to make a good balace wizard
2-Archer (Rangers) Strong with bow and arrows Long range attack What it need? More defense and Ranger skill.
3- Warrior Strong Melee Hand-To-hand combat do whatever you want with it.

How to use your weapon the right way =Strenght
1-2handle weapons: You know that 2h have the most power of all weapon. If you wanna use 2 handle weapon the first choces u need to raise is you defense skill. 2handle attack slow and have the lest defense power but with your defense skill you could kill anything in your way. Afther that raise more your attack more attacl more succeful hit you hit on your enemy.
Post: people say two handle weapon are grap and it's not good for training. But i got news for you it's the best weapon in the game. With high Slash and cruch attack it's had the advantages on all monster. And the plate have the lowers defense on crush why wouldn't use cruch on your enemy. As i recomendent raise more attack the more attack the more succesc hitting your enemy with cruch. And also with cruch attack it do more damage than slash.
I'm correctly using r2h and i'm doing better than using one-handle event i don't have good defense it good enought for me.

2- Dagger: Dagger the lowest power, aim , and defense power. But do attack fast. THe best chose to raise is your attack, and power.

3- Short sword: Almost same as the dagger but with more power, aim, and defense. Raise the same as the dagger.
Attack speed: Fast Attack power * Denfense *
Good for stabbing and slash but stab is the best way to use.

4- Long sword: Its had the most defense power that anything else. The good way to raise your skill is more power and attack.

5- Sciminar: Its the strongest of all weapon in fast speed. Its have the best Power, and aim, a bit of defense. Close to Runelong the best chose skill is more aim and defense.

6-Mace: The mace have the aim ability and raise your prayer Drains ability. These weapon are best for people with most prayer or use more prayer during battle. The best way raise the skill more attack and power.

7-Axe: Axe the strongest power of one handle weapon with lack of aim. its attacl slow but its a good weapon. The best way to raise your skill is more Attack then power.

Warrior have the most balance defense againts hand combat but it's weakness are magical attack.
Wizard can do the most Damage in runescape but there weakness are Ranger Defense. With very low vitality they are quickly to die.
Archer are the most with Vitality and long range attack with good magic defense. But lack of offensive ability and to defense itself from physical.Strong againts wizard with quick attack speed it's can easy defeat wizard.
