In 1985, Damon recorded his first works, with the help of Felton Pilate (Confunkshun) and from that endeavor, The Whispers recorded his song "Don't Be Late For Love", which was featured on More of the Night (Capitol Records 1992). He then put together the group "Rize N Shine", which opened in the bay area for such acts as Tony Toni Tone and Huey Lewis and the News.
After that group disbanded, in 1997, he relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana and joined the gospel group, "7th Praise" and also represented Indianapolis in the State Karaoke Competition in 1998, where he placed 2nd,in a very talented field. From that competition, he put together the group "Concept" in 1999, which also played all over Indianapolis.
In 2001, he formed the duet of "II Suave", with Keya Benberry... enlisting the production services of Felton Pilate (Confunkshun) and Eric Fleming (LaFace/Cyndi Lauper). In 2003, he became the lead vocalist for "The Aberdeen Project" one of Indys baddest R&B/Funk bands, until January 2005, when he moved back to the Sacramento area.
Upon returning to Sacramento, he opened a weekly Wednesday night show at Bobby T's and ran several karaoke shows until September of 2006. He has since taken a leave of absence from performing until May of 2007 to finish his own self-contained CD which is due to be released sometime in August of 2007. He also has works being released in Japan in May 2007.

Damon is your man, with over 25 years experience in the music industry, as a performer, songwriter and producer, as well as over 20 years of Karoke/DJ experience. Diversified music performance/voice background, ranging from beautiful love songs of Luther Vandross, Brian McKnight and Peabo Bryson, the funk and soul of LTD, Maxwell or Usher, to the soulful sounds of Kem or Kenny Lattimore.
