Welcome to my Cyber Film page! Movies have always been part of my life, so it is only right that they form part of my website too. My interest in movies led me to study 'Media Studies' and 'Film & Video' at college and 'Animation' at university.
This page includes the latest top 10 movies, trailers and news. Now sit back, relax, and find out the very best in movie information...

NEWS (November 2000)

Blade 2: Wesley Snipes talked with TV Guide about the upcoming sequel to "Blade" scheduled for release late next year. So what's it going to be about? Snipes says "The basic premise is that there's been some genetic engineering between humans and vampires and a super vampire is created. This super vampire feeds off other vampires. So the vampires want to call a peace treaty with Blade, because they need his help to get these other super vampires out of the way. So now his enemies become his allies...The original Blade is going to look like child's play compared to the sequel".

Kill Bill: Popcorn managed to grab a chat with Tarantino at the "Little Nicky" premiere and asked him about his Uma Thurman-starring "Kill Bill" project. He mentioned he came up with the idea after "Pulp Fiction", wrote 30 pages of it and locked that away and now seven years later the "balls-to-the-wall, violent revenge movie" is finished. Thurman says of the project - "It's a very risqué movie, a female revenge film. I think Quentin's going to up the ante in his creativity and madness. I've just been hearing it as he's been writing it. It sounds extremely exciting but extremely frightening. It'll be the wildest thing that I'll have ever done!". Tarantino neither confirmed or denied rumours that Warren Beatty may be involved in a small role. Thanks to 'Lisa'.

Scary Movie II: Dimension Films recently sent out an official press release announcing that a sequel to this Summer's comedy surprise hit "Scary Movie" is in the works. The first film has now taken in a box-office total of $144 million, surpassing "Good Will Hunting" as Miramax's most successful film ever. Director Keenen Ivory Wayans and writer/actors Shawn and Marlon Wayans will return for the sequel aiming for release May 2001.

Terminator 3 & Doc Savage: Arnie talked with Sci-Fi Wire and mentioned the current status of two of his projects. Initially he said he wouldn't be a part of T3 and then change his mind, what did that? "I think it was that the script was really good, and Jim Cameron just said, 'Look, you can do it. I'm prepping True Lies [2], I have to move on', and all that stuff. I think it was because of that that I changed my mind". He also mentioned the script for the Doc Savage movie is complete - "It's all done. It's just a matter of me having time to film the movie. Because these are all huge projects, and you can only do ... them one at a time. But it will be done, ... I would say, probably next year".

John Carpenter's Vampires: Los Muertos & Terminator 3: Jon Bon Jovi has signed on to star in the lead role of an upcoming sequel to the 1998 flick "John Carpenter's Vampires" acccording to Variety. Shooting begins early next year in Mexico with Screen Gems to distribute the flick, the same company handling the above mentioned "Ghosts of Mars". Meantime one star not as eager to sign on to a sequel is Linda Hamilton. According to the IMDb, the actress has pulled out of "Terminator 3" despite the commitment of Arnie and Furlong to the project - "I was asked. I turned it down. I felt it was more courageous not to do it. I spent nine years trying to get the image of my Terminator character out of people's minds. I'm tired of being ever-earnest and stricken". ____________________________________________________________________________________________________
