Cocker Spaniel Club of Southern California

Welcome to the Cocker Spaniel Club of Southern California website.

Founded in 1930, our objective is to promote the ownership, breeding, showing and training of pure-bred Cocker Spaniels and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.
To support the standard of the breed as approved by the American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which Cocker Spaniels shall be judged.
To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience trials and field trials. To assist all societies which have as their object the prevention of cruelty to all animals, attention being directed particularly to dogs of all breeds.
To conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows & obedience trials under the rules of the American Kennel Club.

Our members are scattered throughout southern California, so we conduct our meetings at the dogs shows when everyone can attend and it is convenient. If you would be interested in joining our club please contact our president, Celyn VanLeeuwen and she will be glad to give you the information. We welcome and encourage you to join in our love of the Cocker Spaniel.
