Colloidal Silver and Prostatitis
I was not particulary aware of any prostate problems I might have had until the summer of 1995, when, at the age of fifty-five, I experienced my first blood-tinged orgasm. Within a couple of hours I experienced chills and fever and was acutely ill for the next ten days. That was the sickest I have been in this life and, needless to say, it caused me to sharply curtail all subsequent sexual activity.
During the ensuing nine years, I was to have noticeable symptoms of prostatitis, such as difficult and painful urination, and more blood-tinged orgasms (some accompanied by acute illness and others not).
Nothing I tried seemed to alleviate the condition, including the addition to my diet of ample quantities of saw palmetto and zinc. Also, I refused to take any medication.
In July of 2004, by some miracle of grace, I discovered colloidal silver and began taking small doses on a daily basis. It did not seem to affect my prostatitis, however.
By the fall of 2004, my condition had progressed to the point where I could not empty my bladder without straining so hard I thought I was going to bust a gut, and my blood-tinged orgasms had become what seemed to be pure blood. For all I know, my prostatitis had morphosed into prostate cancer.
Fearing the worst, and aware that some people with cancer claimed colloidal silver helped them, I increased my dosage to a tablespoonful of 10 PPM colloidal silver every two hours during the day. I also took a tablespoonful each time I woke up at night to use the bathroom. I would always swish the colloidal silver around in my mouth for at least five minutes before swallowing it.
Within a couple of weeks, I noticed a decided lessening of prostate-related symptoms. After about a month or so, my condition was 100% improved--normal orgasms and relative ease in emptying my bladder--and that without taking saw palmetto, zinc, or any other prostatic remedy.
Over the next three years, despite steady use of colloidal silver, my prostate problems gradually returned, with more blood-tinged orgasms and even some occasional painless urethral bleeding. I took a PSA test in April of 2007 and it was definitely elavated. At that point, I decided I needed an additional weapon in my arsenal. So, that same month, I began taking nightly doses of Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN), a promising alternative anti-cancer treatment. My prostate-related symptoms almost immediately disappeared.
