......."To me, as a GOD FEARING Human Being, there is NO Y2K problem. Let me "try to" explain as best I know how, with printed words...read on.....There will be "some" glitches in "the system" as a result of y2k throughout this year and into the next, but "they will" continue to be fixed quickly and without causing major disruptions!
I have been waiting for the proper time to write this. There are "some" Christians who will probably need this, more than others!
I'm sure you have heard about "certain" Christians who have actually gone out and purchased "weapons" and even "stock-piling" food for the Year 2000! It amazes me, "if" they are Christians, why worry! The Year 2000 will come and go, just like they have for Thousands of Years. And, believe me, it's no harm if people want to have some "extras", but NOT to the point of "armed camps" and so forth!
Maybe some of the following will help or encourage some Christians or indeed, the average person who may have concerns or questions regarding the y2k questions.
The reasons I believe there is NO Y2K problem goes like this......."Where does your security lie? Is God your refuge, your hiding place, your stronghold, your shepherd, your counselor, your friend, your redeemer, your savior, and your guide? If He is, then you don't need to search any further for security. REMEMBER, GOD IS in charge of "everything" that happens. And NEVER can a single thing happen without His permission! God's permission comes through His Love." Now to me, that helps solve a lot of things!
As I have stated in previous writings (and here) I am not a preacher or prophet. I can only try to express my opinions to the best of my "limited" ability. Maybe, just maybe, someone can be helped with these opinions, through LOVE.
There has been a lot of "money-making" and "media hype" about this y2k subject. Believe me, I am NOT the computer expert, but you can just about find one anywhere and everywhere on this topic. I have confidence in the large companies like MICROSOFT CORPORATION (and others) and that their knowledge and "expert" computer people, will help solve this "bug" or problem real soon. Some companies have already "tested" their systems and are ready. I believe the USA is just about 67% compliant at present. Sure, there is going to be some "confusion" but that's normal when you "change-up" systems.
In my opinion, God is NOT pleased with Christians who doubt His Almighty Power and Ability! It's normal and Ok to be concerned, but NOT to worry about "what man hath made confusing and messed up"! GOD CAN & WILL FIX IT.

"WHAT'S THIS Y2K PROBLEM"......."My consideration is with what really governs the Universe; Human technology -or- The GOD of CREATION. On January 1st, 2000, the oranges will continue to grow as they did the day before. The Sun and the Moon will continue in their Celestial Orbit. Hallelujah! Electricity will still be produced by the generating plants that are designed to produce it, and it WILL FLOW through the same wires it now uses."
What's the solution? How about shut off the computers that shut off the electricity and let it go! As a bona fide Senior Citizen I have GOOD NEWS for this "computerized generation". Read...."GOD RAN THIS WORLD WITHOUT OUR ADVICE FOR THOUSANDS of YEARS. Mankind prevailed for Millennia without the help of computer chips! The sky is NOT FALLING, but the threat is as "alarming" now as it was to the barnyard in our childhood days.
Maybe what we need is a renewed awareness of the Creativity and Providence of Almighty GOD who has already prepared for our emergencies and exigencies (requirements) by sending us His "warrant of" Trust and Word of Truth. The Scriptures, your HOLY BIBLE, has more to do with "the certainty of our future" than computer chips ever will. Hallelujah! Amen!
.......COLOSSIANS 1:16......."For by Him ALL things were Created: things in Heaven and Earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; -ALL- things were CREATED by HIM and for HIM."
And, my friends, GOD is indeed Creator of ALL things visible and invisible...He is certainly in charge of ALL things visible and invisible, stupendous and miniscule, magnificient and trivial. GOD HAS TO BE in charge of details, and He is going to be in charge of the "overall" design. I believe that includes "cyber-space" and man-created-bug-y2k.!
