Crazy Animal House Photos and Stories
Okay, we didn't want to crowd our other pages, so here is the picture and story section...we hope you like it!
MY HERO
One cold day in March, my two children were playing out by the shore of a lake [that was in our backyard]. I went inside to fix them a snack, and by the time I was back outside, my children had both disappeared. It turned out that they had been playing hide and seek. I called for my children to come get a snack and warm up a bit, but, only my older son, Jordan, appeared. He told me they had been playing hide and seek, and that he had been hiding. So I called once more for my younger son, Jake. When I got no response, I went inside to feed Jordan his snack. I figured Jake would get cold and come in soon enough. He was the one who was always playing tricks on us. But half an hour later, still no Jake. I went outside to look around and call for him once more, yet still no response. I began to worry. I called the neighbors and asked for them to call me if they saw Jake. Finally, hours later, after calling the police, a neighbor returned my frantic call. He told me he saw the weirdest sight; a Border Collie, lying next to my soaking wet Jake, by the shore of the lake in their yard. I screamed with terror, thinking he might have drowned, or gotten hypothermia. I drove over to the neighbors and ran over to Jake. He was alive, but unconscious. Turns out the neighbors Border Collie, Joktan, had dragged Jake out of the lake, saving my son's life! I cryed with joy. My son was alive! If it had not been for Joktan, my son would not be in school today, enjoying life.
