cotopaxi colony lands

Here is a map with the approximate areas of
Colony land shaded in black. I made this map based
on one the Canon City, Colorado public library had
made. Apparently the property coordinates the
library used to determine these boundries came
from legal descriptions on homestead applications.
As I understand it, the Jews paid Saltiel about
$50 to file on the property for them but he did
not do this.
Note that one parcel crossed into Custer County.
Fremont County used to contain Custer County, but
I believe the split came before the Jewish Colony
was in Cotopaxi.
As time and Webspawner allow, I'll work on improving this image.
