An analysis of the 10 MP Coolpix P100 by Nikon
Everything you've heard about the Coolpix is true, the 10 megapixel Nikon P100 is loaded with some very cool features. With the P100 by Nikon, you are going to get a dynamic device that gives you 17 different settings for taking pictures. This Nikon P100 digital camera also offers a wide variety of white balance settings such as automatic, plain fluorescent lighting, radiant lighting, standard flash settings, customized flash settings, and fluorescent daylight/daylight white, as well as others. On top of that, the P100 even has 13 separate video recording modes with high-speed settings, movie standard, user-defined and manual settings, as well as shutter and aperture priority, subject tracking capabilities, scene and scene auto selectors, automatic mode and more. Five modes of focus, Manual AF, Center AF, Macro, Infinity, and 9 point AF are also part of the whole Nikon P100 package.

It was lit for atmosphere not reading books. Bottom line is I had no trouble getting very nicely well lit pix and video in any of the rooms with lights on.....

I waited for months for this camera and it is worth it. The zoom lens is great when it comes to the shots I take....
