A NEW ERA IN FOOTBALL DOMINATION BEGINS!
IN THE BEGINNING...
The Comus Inn Football Club was formed on the 3rd February 2005, by a number of locals who shared a vision for creating a football team for the pub, as it has been almost 15 years without a regular team!
In the first few months, the interest in the team has grown quite quickly, that there are now 20+ players with the club that train weekly, and the team has quickly set up it's own website.

COMUS INN 2-4 WHITE HART
Comus Inn are beaten 4-2 in their second league game of the new season. After finding themselves 3-0 down at half time, Comus fought back with goals from Iain Hirst and Stephen Todd to make it 3-2. However White Hart were awarded a penalty minutes later after Marthyn Land's handball in the box, which the White Hart player slotted home. This Sunday (24th Sept) sees the Comus play Vikings away in the cup at West Park in Goole. All players to meet at ground for 9.30am. K.O 10.30am
ADDED FIXTURE - OCTOBER 8TH V MARSHLAND
Comus Inn will play Marshland at home on October 8th. A fixture that has been added to the current list.
NEW LEAGUE FIXTURES
The new league fixtures up to December have been added to the website.
LEAGUE RESULTS & TABLE UPDATED
Week 2's results and table have been added.
2005/2006 SEASON INFO
The results and table for last season can now be found in the Gallery section, these have now been added.
CHANGE TO PRICES
Training and matches will now be £2.00, substitutes will still have to pay a £1.00. Our next training session will be on Wednesday 13th Sept at 6.30pm.
SIGNING ON FEES 2006/2007
Anyone wishing to sign on for the team this season must pay a one-off £15 signing on fee. This is to help assist the team financially through the season. Please can all players bring this with them if they havent so already this training session. You will also be required to sign a league registration form.

NEW PLAYERS WELCOME!...
Any new players wishing to come down and train with the team are quite welcome to. We will be starting training very shortly at our home pitch on Castle Hill Lane, Drax. Training takes place every Wednesday from 6.30pm. Cost is £2.00. Alternatively, you can email me your interest.
