"Intrinsic" Funds, also called commodity funds, are investments which are not based on stock ownership. Instead, they are based on tangible investments such as gold, oil, grains or even interest baring investments such as government notes, bonds or currencies. Most of these items trade in either spot or futures markets in Chicago, New York, Zurich, Toyko, Hong Kong or other financial centers. Our funds offer other unique tangible investments as well. Historic patterns in the valuation of investments show an important re-occurrence that should not be ignored: When stock markets are at or near their highs, commodities makets tend to be at or near their lows. The converse is also true. When commodities are at thir highest, stock markets tend to be at or near their lows. Many investors choose to devisify their total investments by using a mix of both.
