Greetings, I am Sensei Thor Sulland. Welcome to my Martial Arts Site.
I teach a selection of arts that i have learnt over the last 20 + years. I teach in the picturesque village of Rhoose in South Wales (U.K). But i do welcome (and currently have) Students in several countries in Europe and the U.S. My Sempei Nichloas A Hoare and I, Teach the following arts :
Tai Ken Jujitsu - This is a jujitsu style that i have founded from the skills i have gained in doing the following jujitsu styles, included is a list of my qualifications in them :
Tai Ken Jujitsu - 6th dan
American Tiger Jujitsu - 5th dan
American Modern Jujitsu - 5th dan
A.M.J. Pressure points - 5th dan
Noontide Jiu - Jutsu - 4th degree black belt.
Yoshin Ryu Jujitsu - 3rd dan
Combat Karate (Street Karate)/ several styles of karate are taught here. The student chooses the karate style that best meets their own needs. Below is a list of styles and my ranks in them :
Shorinkenjitsu karate - 6th dan.
Tatakai Jikoboei Do Kempo - 5th dan.
Dragon Kenpo Karate - 4th Dg Black Belt.
Honshin Ryu Ninjutsu - This is a very tough combative style of Ninja training from Canada. However, i do restrict who i teach it to. For a person to be taught this system by me. They must be selected from the ranks of the other arts i teach. They must show the highest level of discipline, Loyalty, Courage, Honour and Respect (not just for the school, but for themselves)
Knife fighting - VKA recognised instructor. In the u.k. there is a growing knife problem. We teach methods of adressing that problem in a self defence situaton.
Our School is recognised and licensed by the above ryus. But we are also recognised by the following Martial Arts associations :
