Sen. Manny Villar was really hurt by this nonsense C5 Villar controversy. But, let me tell you something, do people know about this Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX)controversy? Probably not, because it was closely guarded by his political villainsdetractors. Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) road scandal, for information sake, is an expressway that runs through Hacienda Luisita, which is owned by Noynoy Aquino family.
According to a news article on GMANEWS.TV that talks about this C5 Villar Controversy titled 'SCTEx controversy bigger than Villar's C5 issue';
"Alleged anomalies in the construction of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx) that traverses the Cojuangco-owned Hacienda Luisita are much more controversial than the C5 issue hounding Senator Manuel Villar Jr."
"At the resumption of the House Oversight committee hearing's inquiry into the issue, Cavite Rep. Jesus Crispin Remulla-a member of Villar's Nacionalista Party (NP)-said the national government paid P100 per square meter for the right of way of SCTEx to parts of the 600-hectare sugar plantation, when the actual value was only P8."
"This is bigger," Remulla said when asked to compare the SCTEx to the C5 controversy hounding Villar. "
