The Final Road
By:Christine Wallace
She sits alone on the cliff's edge
Her mind becomes unravelled
About what she did in her past
The roads she has not travelled
"What have I done, what have i seen?"
The answers are now lost
She had no past to think about
Her memories were lost
"What will I do, what will I see?"
The answers are unknown
There is no future for her now
And she will nevr know
No more hanging out with her friends
Her time with them is done
No more crying or lying now
No more days in the sun
As she gets closer to the edge
Her hands begin to shake
she knows what she has to do now
Her life she's gonna take
In just one step she changed her life
Everything now seemed clear
As she dove off the cliff's edge
She had no more to fear
All that she saw were clouds and white
She knew where she was now
They asked her how she had got there
But she did not know how
All she remembers is the cliff
And thinking in her head
Of what she has done in her life
And wishing she was dead
They told her about what she did
She could not comprehend
This fall did not make sense to her
This road had been the end
